I have 1640 dust and I need Barnes and Y'shaarj for my big priest deck. I can literally play with my big priest without those legendaries for now and I want to a second deck for the wild. When I checked out Secret mage decks, I found out it is very cheap but strong. What should I do? Which deck should I complete?
Secret mage in wild is a fun deck. The only legendary you really need is Aluneth, the weapon I'm pretty sure. It's really a secret burn deck. Against armor you might have a hard time.
It is currently controling the wild meta, it is extremely strong and can seal the match as soon as turn 6. It is cheap to craft too. I would craft it along big priest as this way you will have a control high roll deck and a burn aggro one.
Was bored from rank 2-1 standard meta after the nerfs so i played some wild.
Went from rank 6 0 stars up to rank 4 in like 1,5 hours or so. at the beginning some losses, e.g. vs. the worst matchup odd warrior, but then it just went nuts. lost at rank 4 again finally, the other mage was drawing better (same deck).
Craft it if you want fast wins in any rank of wild.
It looks like others beat me to it, but yes, the deck is well worth it. It was previously kept in check by other aggro decks, but the additions of Flame Ward and Arcane Flakmage took away that countermeasure. The only things stopping it from total dominance at the moment are jade druid and odd warrior, and even those are winnable with a decent curve.
Ok that is pretty subjective. It is the perfect puzzle piece to the deck, but not everyone is going to craft a wild legendary to play a flavor deck that can win pretty substantially without it. To answer you @stagh you can play Leeroy Jenkins and probably do nearly as well. Any card in your collection that does direct damage is, although worse as Ace is trying to say, will get you there.

I replaced Aluneth with Leeroy and received fine results. Sometimes I am out of sources without Aluneth but the tempo saves the day

Wrong, aluneth is the key card and the best card of the deck. Playing secret mage without aluneth its the same as playing control warrior without dr boom. The deck is super cheap and only has one legendary and one epic card with ice block.

Played winrates says nothing at all. Pyroblast has one of the best played winrates and is a bad card to have in your hand most of the time, because its only used as a finisher. Just as an example.

After seeing this deck (somehow I did not play for some time in ranked wild recently), I'm pissed that wild died. There will be no interesting matchups because of the power factor of this deck and its dominance. Frankly speaking I don't see any counter to it, it has tools against aggro and is very quick in killing by itself. The worst thing is that blizzard usually not care about wild, so I don't expect any nerf to that... Thank you blizzard!
It seems the meta is dominated by it - take a look at the numbers of played matches taken from HS deck tracker - 18k this trash (in slight variations - one or two cards changed), next winrate deck - 3.5k, 10% winrate less than mage.
I wish you all mages fun and interactive mirror matches! It is time to stop playing ranked

Despite what the internet will tell you, Big Priest isn't even that great in wild anymore. Secret Mage is running roughshod over the format.

Any replacement for Aluneth?

Always expect the unexpectable!

Hey. =)
Yea its worth. its the best Aggro Deck in wild ATM.

imagine crafting wild decks
Imagine only playing standard

A 6 mana card having the best mulligan, drawn and played winrate in an aggro deck, it's clearly a must have to play the deck.
If you want to be a cancerous piece of shit and play the most disgusting deck in Hearthstones history, sure you can spend the dust.
2 legendaries and 6 cards have better played winrates

Big Priest is better without Barnes.
