Why am I forced to play at level 15 b/c I hit that ranked mark? Let me turn that feature off because I don't care about the grind. I rather have fair matches with my skill and my decks in mind.
I literally lost 10 matches in a row playing meme warlock mecathun decks to net decks and I should be what, level 17 now?
I shouldn't be forced to tank my ranking when I hit level 16 to avoid this bullshit of having to be a bottom feeder. Man, why do so many multiplayer games encourage this sort of bullshit mismatch matchmaking; it's a fucking bullying mentality at its finest.
This feature allows people to play without fear of losing too much ground. I think it was overall good for the ladder. Not sure why you're complaining. It's not like there's a huge difference between rank 20 and 15. Why not just play casual if you don't care about the grind?
Lol what at rank 15 you should be able to win with like every deck. Skill cap is very low at rank 15 compared to 5. You lack skill if you lose 10 games in a row that’s for sure e

The only difference between rank 15 and 5 is the decks you face. The "skill" level is about the same.

hahaha you kidding rigt you see the same deck at rank 15 and 5 only al lot of different skill level for piloting this deck and if you reaaly think the skill level is the same you have no idea where you talking about

No-one is forcing you to play at rank 15 - you can simply allow yourself to drop down at the end of each season / month. If you are losing matches at rank 15, then the game will re-categorise you in due time.
That said, complaining about not being allowed to be a worse rank than you are smacks remarkably of troll-ery.
I get what he's saying, some seasons I use wild ladder just to create crazy meme and tribal decks, and if you push too high you start hitting big priests and the like which sucks the fun out of the game - You're still playing to win but you don't always want to be ranking up, and you don't want to be playing casual mode either.
At the rank floors though you always come across people doing this sorta thing - for example rank 5 to 4 is far less competitive than rank 7 through to 5.
So before they added the catch ranks 15-20 was a tier 1 aggro farm fest. It was terrible for newer players who never had a chance. Players would farm easy gold and concede.
And what you want isn’t a fair match, you want to be playing lower skill/new collections to make it easier to win with your meme deck. Honestly the ‘catch ranks’ are a good place to meme, as well as casual. If you can’t stand losing don’t meme.
Talking about skill in Hearthstone. *laughs a lot* Nowadays it's all random effects most of the time. Box of Yoggsaron says Hi
No. He was absolutely correct. You will see tier 1 decks pulled straight from Vicious Syndicate even at rank 20 and above. One of my friends who plays super casually and usually finishes the season at around rank 19 sees high tier decks all the time at the ranks she plays at. The difference between a rank 25 Highlander Hunter with 7 legendaries and a legend top 16 Highlander Hunter with 7 legendaries is the ability to actually play the game to a good level. Believing there isn't skill in Hearthstone is a good indicator of poor understanding of the game.
It can suck, feeling like you're out of place, but I'm pretty sure that, if you're still at rank 15 by the end of the month, you'll drop down to a lower rank.
Having the ability to toggle the rank floors on and off would allow players to abuse the system by dropping to low ranks, where they can feed on lower skill level players. This new ranked system allows players to remain at a rank that reflects their skill level, even if they suffer several bad beats in a row.
I think everyone was happy when this ranked system change was announced, so I don't see it going away anytime soon.

In my opionion its quite the opposite. The decks on rank 15 are pretty much all netdecks. Maybe a few less tier 1 decks but enough. The difference is more about the skill or playtime. Yes I know people say that there is no skill in HS ( what is wrong imo) but its pretty clear that people in those ranks just dont play with their opponents cards in mind (board clears etc) and just play their own hand. People in this ranks just dont know the decklists, rank 5+ most people know the most meta lists and can make decisions with this knowledge.

Losing 10 games in a row does not reflect my skill level, as much as it reflects I'm in the wrong bracket.
Until a new system is implemented, I'm going to sit at rank 20, win one, lose one, and rope the entire time. Blizzards wants to encourage bullying with their poor ranking system, fine fuck their system then.
Sooner or later, you may have to face the notion (if true) that ten losses in a row DOES reflect your skill combined with the lack of strength in the deck. Hunterace himself couldn't get to legend with some of the memery out there.
On the broader subject of lack of skill in this game, I'll never understand why people latch onto that particular bit of masturbatory nihilism. Hearthstone has a lower skill ceiling than Magic the Gathering, I grant you, but that's roughly akin to saying Differential Equations is an easier class to pass than Number Theory. Statistically true, but practically useless information.
People should actually watch some of the GM League matches. Last season, you could watch several iterations of each mirror matchup among the competitive meta decks, and if you pay enough attention and have enough knowledge of the game yourself, you can find one or two major errors in the highest levels of play with thousands of dollars on the line. It's amazingly interesting to watch.
I suppose folks get the idea that skill is lacking in the game because there are certain specific matches where the game hinges on RNG. If that is your philosophy, I laugh to think of how "skill-less" you must consider poker. Games based on RNG are iterative processes. No one particular game is guaranteed to reveal the player with the most skill. Players must execute the correct plays numerous times, and sometimes those plays will not be sufficient to win, BUT win rates over time certainly show huge differences in levels of play.
It's relevant to point out that some folks just aren't cut out to handle games with an RNG element. There are games, such as Starcraft, that reduce the influence of random factors down to functionally zero, and because of this, the better player will tend to win a MUCH higher amount than in Hearthstone, but this does not mean there aren't equally provable differences of skill in both games. By the way, build order losses in Starcraft are NOT RNG. They represent a conscious decision by one player to play greedily and leave the possibility open to be hard-countered by an opponent.
In any case, I realize that people who bitch about "no skill gamez" aren't susceptible to facts and evidence, but I can't resist sometimes. It's disappointing to see, especially in a community I enjoy. There are reasons the same players continue to post stellar results. There are reasons you'll see someone take a deck with which you couldn't make Rank 5 if your life depended on it, and take that deck to #1 legend. For that matter, there are reasons Brian Kibler single-handedly convinces people that Tess Greymane is part of the meta.
As a final thought, if anyone seriously despairs of substantiating the skill component of Hearthstone, I strongly recommend going to the Hearthstone eSports YT channel and looking up the 2017 World Championships. In particular, the Quarter or Semi-Finals match between Frozen and Sintolol. To this day, the greatest tournament match of this game I have ever seen. If you want a challenge, spot the game-losing error Frozen makes that is not acknowledged by the casters. Amazing match that most players on the ladder would have lost horribly on many different occasions throughout both sides of all games.

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.

Why do you care about rank floor if you don't care about winning?
Play Casual as others have said.
And yes, losing 10 games in a row does reflect your skill level OR your deck is truly terrible.
