Do you find hearthstone to be a relaxing experience from match to match or stressful one?
Do you need to take breaks between matches? Do you take more time between ranked matches the higher you climb or just rush in to the next one regardless?
I'd have to say playing ranked at a high rank (4 and up) since I would be scared of loosing progress or a win streak. Messing around with a deck once reaching rank 10 or 5 is probably the most relaxing since you don't have to worry about going back to rank 9/6 and better test your deck.

Kobolds are almost as bad as goblins, they gotta die (⌐■_■)–︻╦╤─
Control games are relaxing and fun. Aggro is mindless and stressful. Mech Huntard is probably the worst offender.
Just my opinion though.
Agree so much. Mech hunter is one of the most retarded decks in this game, you either have multiple single target removals or you lose. Magnetic is so dumb.
I haven't played for some period of time and desided to play today. I found that most of my opponents were super toxic, bming with lethal on board, just simply bming without any reason (not only with emotes, but also with stupid plays). I'm ok with emotes, i usually say hello and well played every match. The most important part found is that i don't really feel good from game to game, i mean i literally feel some pain in my hearth just literally, so i desided to stop play for a moment or maybe forever, because its somehow influence on my health. Or i mute the game and listen music, it actually helps. I think its all about hs community, not the game and i took it seriously. But i met some good people in games i actually lost long time ago, funny thing is that they don't play since RoS.
So, answering your questions - it's not relaxing for me at all and it's even painful. No breaks, its just play or don't play. When i play near legend rank, i usually rush, because of less time.
People THINK it’s a competitive and skill based game, so they get grumpy when they lose. However, once you accept that RNG decides most games, it’s not stressful at all. It’d be like getting mad because of a coin flip or dice roll.
Some days I'm fine with it. . . those win-one, lose-one days where the games feel a little more like you had a hand in it.
Other days are just shitfests, all bad matchups, bad draws, dumb RNG, ropers, tons of casual T1 netdeckers. Those days, I get frustrated, and question wtf i'm doing with my sorry life.
Then I play some MtGA, and piss myself off all over again.
if u want a game of pure skill 1v1 go play starcraft 2
if u want a game of pure skill but with a team then u play dota 2
if you want to sit on the poopoo can and just swipe flick and enjoy yourself this is it LOW brain cells commitment simple straight forward fun and you can really just kill some time on a lunch break on the bus etc atleast that's how i see it squeeze in a few games for some whacky rng fun i wouldn't take this seriously when the person that one the pro tour said i just focused on drawing luna's pocket galaxy on 5 there's actually no skill in that LUL
Mostly replied that its not frustrating. Interesting, then where are the mass of salties and qqers?! Just kidding lol
Btw its a card game mostly i enjoy it and not get Salt but i think because im a calm person, but yeah very few moments when I can get frustrated too. Main reason is i wanna build homebrew decks and often perform badly and then i think im a bad deck builder xD
I don't drink, BUT I do have prescription percocet (oxycodone and tylenol mix) and prescription concerta (methylphenidate or "Ritalin" ER), and needless to say, I'm allowed up to 40 mg per day of oxy and 72 mg per day of concerta, and it's definitely due to those plus that I actually do enjoy the game that I am never stressed when I'm on Hearthstone. It can get frustrating at certain moments, but usually, even through those moments, I can find myself smiling. haha. So, I definitely do understand the feeling l);)

Last two months I've been trying to reach legend the first time. Normally I just go to rank 5 and be happy.
I found that to be the most stressful gaming experience I've ever had. I reached rank 1 this month and last month but somehow managed to plummet back to rank 4 again. I just don't have the patience to do this and get frustrated.
I get stressed out when I play ranked games at times. Sometimes your opponents just always draw perfect and you're left there boned because you're never drawing what you need and it can get really frustrating. That's actually been like my last week of playing. No luck as of late so I can't get anywhere. Really considering switching to some braindead aggro deck to get out of the cesspool that is lower ranks.
If you're not competing for the chance to make thousands of dollars I don't think you need to stress out over an online card game. If you are trying to climb, being relaxed and learning from your matches does more than rocking back and forth in your chair in-between lethal turns.
I'm at the point where most things don't tilt or frustrated me in HS right away. At least in constructed (Arena's different). If I'm in the zone, I can predict 2 moves ahead and make different plays as a result. Also another thing is being able to recover from a bad start - mitigating that bad draw RNG to an extent.
Going from Rank 5-Legend does take a bunch of focus and persistence, especially if you haven't done it before. But maybe that's not what you're looking for when you play HS. So I mix it up, going to Wild, and casual to try out new ideas.
Then I play some MtGA, and piss myself off all over again.
I'm not well.
MTG:A has been pissing me off way more than HS: I find myself in situations where I know what they're going to play, it's bad for me and I can't do anything about it (Scapeshift + Field of the Dead, or Reckless Rage into Dreadhorde Arcanist attack into Reckless Rage again). Nothing I can do unless I have some suboptimal tech card for it, which I don't have in collection. With HS I don't really feel like this.

I play ranked even when I am doing the laundry or the dishes. I don’t care about the rank. Rank 5 Right now. Just testing decks out on the floor.
Personally, I find the answer to this question to be no... No matter what. For me, it's just a game, whether I'm at rank 5-10 or rank 1 five stars.
I enjoy most matches and often I'll listen to music or do other things at the same time.
The only time I take an intentional break in between games is on high wild ladder because counter queing is a thing.

Never understood why people get so mad tbh

Sitting home alone playing HS and getting drunk. Winning!!
I can't think of any other game that frustrated me the most.

This game = 30% skill + 70% rng
Signature move
