After a long break, I started to miss this game so I decided to return. The thing is lots of things changed, I didn't play hearthstone since Rastakhan's Rumble so yeah all of my favorite decks went to wild. I first started to play when the Grand Tournament of Old Gods got into the game, then as time passed I disenchanted all of my good cards because they went to wild and I was a Standard player.
Now I don't want to repeat the history and I decided that I should move to wild/arena for a while, give it a chance and I wanted to ask for some pice of advice because I'm basically a "newbie". I don't know if it is the right decision but I want to give it a shot so thanks for the spent time <3
Wild is a nice choice so you don't have to immediately catch up with the new expansions of cards. Just be aware that the decks you played won't be as competitive as they had been. Just take a look at what decks to expect, at least at higher ranks and adjust accordingly.
Budget options are your better options. Odd and Even archetypes with the cards Genn Greymane and Baku the MoonEater are general decent decks in wild. They won't be top tier, maybe not even second, but if you had aggressive decks in your old days you probably still have cards to decide which of these legendaries to craft. I'd say for 2-3k dust you can make a workable version.
