More specifically, when you're playing a slow deck yourself. Turn 5 or coin turn 4 Luna's Pocket Galaxy has made me lose five games in a row against this deck when playing Control Warrior. The card doesn't even have to be in their opening hand, since it's very easy to fish out with Mana Cyclone. Come turn 6 they Alexstrasza my face to 15 while having at least 3 8/8s on the board. This is isn't getting into late game with infinite fireballs from Antonidas because of all the 0 or 1 mana spell cycles. Even with perfect RNG on my end, I can't seem to find a way to win.
It's pretty much unwinnable if you play a slower deck. They just have too many tools. If you're facing a lot of pocket mages your best bet is switching to a deck that can apply enough pressure to mess with their game plan
My stats from a big spells mage deck says a win rate 60% /mage vs warrior/ (in mage favour). So it's hot but not a one sided match up like control warrior vs quest paladin.
Boardclear, Boardclear, freeze, freeze, box, freeze, box, boardclear...fun to play against
Mage just crawled out of the gutter from it's last batch of nerfs and rotations so kindly piss off with that opinion. A couple tweaks, possibly, nerfed hard, no

Sure, Conjurers Mage was so bad that we have the need for 3 more Archetypes.
I kindly invite you to piss off yourself with your ignorance.
Though the initial question is understandable, it's also a bit blindsided. If you are facing a deck that constantly beats the deck you are playing then switch the deck!
I know, in some cases you can adapt by adding certain tech cards. But in this case the match-up is just bad. So if you are especially "pissed off" by losing against Big Mage, I'm afraid you just have to stop playing Control Warrior...

I was talking about before conjurers mage, which literally just came out last expansion, because before that mage was trash. If you can't use simple logic perhaps piss off with YOUR ignorance...

Before conjures mages (RoS), Odd control mage, odd secret mage, before that, tempo mage, freeze mage, exodia mage? In RoS i got legend with Dragon Mage with 67% wr, only losing x mech hunter and some very aggros. Mage needs nerf on Luna, and warrior needs on "DK".

I mean u are kidding, warrior is stupid good on meta now.
Galaxy is simply a flawed concept. You're just not winning slow matchups if they have it in their first 8 cards unless they drew all their heavies beforehand. There is no way for a slow deck to reliably punish a pass turn 4 or 5, especially if the Doomsayer comes down the turn before. Mage has some really cool tools right now and could be super interesting, unfortunately Galaxy warps the game around it so much that nothing else is important.
Welcome to "Coin Flip Matchup System", arguably most flawed and lazy multiplayer game design ever made... Seriously, this is how HS mechanic works and there's no way around it, Yet Blizzard is surprised that people are growing tired and leaveing the game...

It's not a hearthstone mechanic, it's a card game mechanic. Certain archtypes are good against others, there's no getting around that and it has nothing to do with bad design.

Odd mage (any iteration) Wasn't super good, mid to bottom tier 2/top of tier 3. Hell conjurer's mage wasn't top dog until after rogues got nerfed and then Lunas got buffed. Tempo mage hasn't been much of a deck since flamewaker rotated. Freeze mage largely died with the ice lance rotation. Conjurer's mage really is the first legitimate tier 1 mage deck since the last Reno mage deck. Everything else has been very touch and go. Your own personal win rates don't speak for the class state as a whole. You said they needed to be nerfed hard, I stated minor tweaks were needed instead.

How do you know Blizzard is surprised? And how do you know people are growing tired and leaving the game?

"when playing Control Warrior"
LOL.
My advice would be to suck it up, buttercup.
Just an example, not the only deck I play. Basically any slow control deck has the same issue.
Don't really understand why edgelords feel the need to comment to a legitimate issue while not being able to generate ideas.

Because it's a dumb question. Big Mage is a counter to Control Warrior.

A warrior complains about a Mage...seriously?
Both of those classes need to be nerfed hard.

I am bit set back by the harsh tones issued here.

Wait for a nerf.
