I always dust wild cards. never regretted it. Can try a lot of different standard decks and i'm more of a casual player, play every day, but rarely longer than 30-60 minutes. So in the lifespan of an expansion i never get to play all the decks a could afford to play with my card pool. So, yes, duting wild is ok despite losing a lot of value (and all the people that say from pure value dust point its not rly a good thing are absolutely right).
I used to not do that when i actually spended money on the game.
some day i somehow managed to forget my blizzard account after 2 months not playing and created a new account for hearthstone. as a now casual(free to play) player it is easy to still have competitive decks if you always dust after rotation and only play mage or druid because they always stay competitive lol and have many angles to build a deck
I have not spent money on the game since Kobolds or Witchwood, not sure which, but it's been 1½-2 years or so by now. My decks however have remained competitive since, because I've been sustaining myself by dusting cards that have rotated into wild.
When I first started I dusted after the first rotation and regretted it ever since, Not because I play wild( Which I dont) But because of brawls and special events that make use of old cards. But I do understand its tempting.
I tell you Reno mage is glorious so he may have made a good short term investment. It's going to suck for all of mage players though when they nerf 1-2 cards and cripple the whole class.
He was away from HS since Rastakhan, and when back to get top tier deck to climb rank.
He proceeded to dust everything rotated during RoS (DKs, Ungoro quests, evrything) jsut to freaking craft one freaking expensive deck.
I know this quite common for some people who dont play wild, but seeing it is done in front of my own eyes when collection dusted one by one
is like people shooting their own pet, one by one...seriously wth
(And...if reno mage nerfed in near future...just lol )
I dust every wild rotation since I don't play that cesspool of nonsense lol. I think I started this rotation with over 70k dust
It Is sad that people need to dust their cards - never had to and I wouldn't because I like collecting. I just preorder and play lots of arena.
It’s a shame the game is so expensive, people feel they have to do this.

I dust my wild cards after every rotation. Why play wild at all? Getting salty because of retarded big priest and odd paladin players? No, thanks.
How much of a virgin do you have to be to compare crafting stuff in a card collecting game to shooting a pet lmao

well not everyone buyin double preorders and this game aint cheap for starters,
u gotta spend money or time u know
If they nerf both PocketGalaxy and Conjurer's Calling mage standart might become totaly unplayable. And you friend might be in surprise lol.
Though wild mage totaly doesn't care both of this cards and he rules supreme.
I don't do it to save money, I do it for crafting freedom. Makes no sense to hold onto shit I'm not using like some digital hoarder
i just did it few days ago... (for the second time) no regrets at all
Damn, dude, why didn't you stop him? I would have punched him in the face and left unconscious if necessary... :/
If. You. Don't. Like. Wild. It. Is. Free. Dust.
ya it's pretty dumb and bad dust management. brawls and other events let you use wild cards sometimes too.

I don't believe that you have friends.
Honestly...some people lol. Im a collector personally and I dusted all my non golden copies of every wild card with no regrets.
