I noticed you cant coin out omega devastator on turn 9 and use its ability even though technically you do have 10 mana crystals. Although you can coin out to activate Chrystal merchant on turn 2. I figured they should both work the same way. Is Devastator broken? or is this intentional?
also if you were to innervate would it work the same way? Or will that actually work with devastator?
The Omega cards only have their added function when you have 10 permanent mana crystals. Temporary crystals from things like this coin or innervate do not work.

yeah I stated that, but is it intentional? It seems to be worded in a way that it SHOULD work with the coin. Or Im just dumb. Thats a high probability.
Similar logic to playing a 6 mana card on turn 9, then coining the devastator. Sure, you spent 10 mana that turn, but you didn’t have 10 mana crystals. But yeah, the wording is wrong it seems.
and really , comparing it the marchant was unnecessary. It really has nothing to do with it, but the coin SAYs it gives you a mana crystal. Idk, Seems wrong to me still.
how I see it: when you use the coin on turn 9 you have 9 "permanent" mana crystal and 1 temporary mana crystals, then you play devastator and you use the temporary crystal + 3 permanent, so you have 6 permanent + 3 used crystal (=9 crystal) when it checks the battlecry condition
edit: this can be checked by using floop's gloop and knife jugglers so when you play the devastator, the jugglers kill some minions to raise you current mana to 10 before the battlecry starts

So go write an angry letter to Blizzard. This topic has been beaten to death.

(assuming a warlock could get a innervate)
I hear what you are saying and technically from a card-wording point of view I would say that you are correct that it could be read (and understood) in the way you describe. However, all Omega cards have always worked on the basis that they require you to have 10 permanent mana crystals, so in regards to Omega Devastator, no, the card isn't bugged / broken; it's working the same way all the Omega cards are intended to, if maybe worded a little badly.
Is the wording misleading? Perhaps. Is there anything that can be done about it here? No. Should you raise it with Blizzard? That's up to you. It's not specifically a "bug" though, so they may just ignore it.

I think a lot of people think that Omega Devastator is broken but I guess that is for another reason.

A coin isn't a mana crystal just gives you an extra mana. Very different and card is worded correctly.
If Omega Devestator were to work the same as Crystal Merchant you could only use his battlecry if you had exactly 10 unspent mana. Different cards.
Could even be a good nerf to it tho so you cant delivery drone into it.. Just a thought
The Coin
Omega Devastator
It gives you a mana Crystal.
