My secret mage is 3-0 against paladin so far without much trouble. Believe it or not my Rogue deck build entirely around bouncing Zephrys back to hand to replay also does quite well against it. Take what you will from that.

Quest Paladin is another stupidly broken archetype, which has no counterplay other than "play specific deck or you're busted". You must go aggro.

enought counter plays for that if you know how to play the game

There is no tech card that you can put into your deck to have chance against him (like Skulking Geist against jades or silence vs Mech Paladin), you just have to play the right deck. System gave you Quest Paladin when you've been playing as Quest Druid? Well, unlucky you, try again...
I never said you CAN'T beat him. You can, but you need certain deck or you're busted.

Never had a problem with quest Tess Rogue. I manage to clear their board every turn. I still haven't lost to them
