I have tried to play hack warrior with several different decks but none of these really worked well. So i have to questions: First, has anybody a really good hack warrior deck and would like to share? And secondly, do you guys think a hack bomb warrior could work as a aggro/tempo/rush warrior weapon based with 2 Wrenchcalibur, 2 Clockwork Goblin and Blastmaster Boom.
if you are going to go that deep into bombs its better to do the bomb control builds with dr boom HC instead of the quest.
Usually the wrenchcalibur bombs dont matter in the rush down builds, and you are just using them because they are a "good enough" weapon to activate your quest.
I want to tinker with the quest too purely because I got it from a pack but I have no illusions about how good it is. You might be able to mix hack and taunt warrior but I still doubt the deck will be viable.
I got Hack as my free quest. It's pretty mediocre at the moment. The problem is you cut control cards because boom is strictly better for control. If you go aggro, you start the game one card down which is usually a lethal card if you're playing face warrior without quest. So it needs to be tempo/midrange.
I don't see it as great midrange because other midrange decks do more by the time your 4/3s matter.
Questing adventurer must be played as it can provide great tempo with a card draw. Getting one before you finish the quest is likely. Crier and rush package with rush weapon is nice. Beyond that, you cannot kill many minions with weapons before your health becomes a factor. You no longer gain armor from hero power, so maybe the 6/7 armor goon is okay. The main question is do you play brawls and warpaths. Overall it's mediocre now, could be good next expac.
There are a lot of things to balance. I would love more weapons, more whirlwind/self damage, and another wasp and other rush minions. Upgrade would be nice too. And more card draw. There just isn't enough room for everything. I haven't found the right mix, if one exists. But, the deck does alright, and it's fun when it works.
I do really like the spiteful smith combo with the whip. Sometimes, I can protect the smith with taunts and really do a lot of damage with the whip over a few turns.
I'm not sure there's enough power to make this really work for ladder. To compete nowadays, you really need crazy overpowered decks.
As much as creative deckbuilders don't want to admit it, Hack the System was always destined to be a one-year option.
In other words, there was no circumstance when Hack the System would be a viable option while Dr. Boom's hero card is still legal in standard.
We will have to reevaluate after the April 2020 set has released.

I made a 72% winrste hack warrior out of 100 games
Could you post your deck list? Would be very nice.
Play Piratewarrior with Quest. :D
You have always weapons and your "Gain 2 Armor" is useless as Aggroplayer.
So Quest is fine in Piratewarrior.
I've tried. Here's a current deck
