Yep jarraxus should become a real hero like dr.boom/hagatha so not a demon/can't be killed with a simple sac pact. +X armor and no modification of life total
So he gives 5 armour, and leaves you at 30 HP? That might turn him into the strongest card in the game.
It's really counterproductive to getting new players not to fix/ buff Jarax. Imagine you are a new player to this game and you recieve him as your first legendary. Your pumped by the artwork, the multilayered effect. You take him into play and are floored by that awesome entrance. You have a premium weapon and the ability to summon 6/6s for 2 mana!!!... Then your opponent plays a 2 mana card and wins the game.
I can guarantee you this exact scenario has hapoened a number of times by now. A few of those players may have quit for good after seeing that horseshit.
Dragonslayer can't deal damage to Galakrond so why should sacpac kill Jaraxxus. It was a cute interaction a long time ago now it's death to Warlocks only classic legendary. The other 8 are still viable and see play time to time. Why can't warlocks? Just make sacpac read: destroy a demon minion. Jaraxxus has enough problema without it.
That fact the Lord J was once an OP meta card to the disgraced place he's in now just goes to show the insane amount of power creep Hearthstone has suffered.
This is one of my favourite cards and I did the legend lock climb back in the day he was good. Honestly, the issue isn't Lord J is bad, it's that paper creep and instant counters have been created to the enth degree, making him all but unplayable. While some cards need to get HoF to make room Jarax is on the other end of the scale.
The best way to fix him isn't buff him or "fix" the interaction. It's to balance power levels in new expansions better. Don't flood decks with discovery mechanics and RNG get of jail mechanics. I believe it's commonly agreed on that hero cards are OP and usually some what broken, these are the best examples of gone too far. Now because of 20+ damage combos from hand power creep, Jarax is just a liability at best.
I wish it weren't so, but I don't feel a change is necessary either. Guldan HC pretty much outvalues and has a better HP than Jaraxx will ever have in wild. And he could naturally rotate back into meta in standard as current expansions rotate out.
Jarraxus may be a bit good when it works with "Summon a random demon" cards but as a class legendary card it almost has no value especially when it does not benefit from demon buffing cards and when it gets easily countred by Dirty Rat, Sacrificial Pact, Snipe, Repentance,..
The least Blizz can do to make this card playable is to keep the same mana cost, make Jaraxxus a hero card and give it 5 armor. The 15 hp can remain the same.

As much as I love lord J, we do need to keep in mind that he has the strongest hero power of any hero to date, with the possible exception of the even more elusive Ragnaros hero. Only a few SOMETIMES can out-stat a 6-6 each turn, but those that can (Rexxar, Dr Boom on specific turns, Hagatha very occasionally) have to spend much more mana to do it. As just "Gain 5 armor and equip a 3-8 weapon", which you can just play when you're evenish on board? Followed by a 6-6 every turn for the rest of the game? That would genuinely be the strongest hero power in the game, and given they're pushing heroes to be more build arounds and battlecry loaded, I'm not sure they're interested in taking a cute classic card and making it a stronger mix of Deathstalker Rexxar and Frostlich Jaina. They specifically said they don't want games to end the same way every time, and a hero like Jaraxxus, as a true hero card, would genuinely be too strong for modern Hearthstone.
Side note: people say there's power creep because yeti doesn't see play, but yeti didn't actually see play in the top meta of Pre-Expansion Hearthstone, with the exceptions of Druid and Shaman, both of which were midrange classes that have been nerfed into the ground (Innervate, wild growth, force of nature, ancient of lore, rockbiter weapon, hex, flametongue totem). And those classes were middle of the pack compared to the big beasts of Freeze mage, Handlock, and Miracle rogue, all of which have also been stripped and nerfed into unrecognizability. Nothing in standard compares to the raw power of classic miracle rogue, so the implication that just because better cards exist than chillwind yeti doesn't actually mean the power of the modern standard rotation is any stronger. Don't underestimate how powerful a card can become if you take it and redesign it towards a structure it was never meant to fill.

Just curious, what was a good LJ deck back in the day? I've been playing since about June 2016 and I don't remember a single time that Jaraxxus was ever in the meta...tbh I've hardly faced him at all in playing for 4 years. Whereas every other Classic Legendary has been in meta at some point or another in my experience (Cenarius only recently with Quest Druid, but still).

It should be a hero card. They wouldn't even have to give a dust refund.

2k20, hearthpwn forum users find out, that interactions in hearthstone are inconsistent

tbf, this sounds like any MtG card

He is fine as it is.
It sucks because Hearthstone changed and it is easier to make 15 damage to the face.
In any case, we don't have to change all cards when they become obsolete.
(As Hero card he would be too strong.)
I found that Lord Jaraxxus is not so terribbe as it seems in first glance. Sharing deck with positive win ratio.
Take away the demon tag, cost reduced to 8 mana.
That way it's a 10 mana set health to 15, give 3/5 weapon and get 6/6 on the board.
