Control warrior with the taunt package. It crushes every deck except quest paladin. Add to a tier 1 deck a new aoe (plague of wrath) + some broken taunts + better removals (mummy) and you obtain a broken deck.
I went from rank 10 to rank 3 pretty easily. Control warrior beats every quest / highlander decks except quest pal.
control warrior has legitimate competition these days but it still works. I'm in the middle of rank 4 with it right now.
Hit those murloc pockets while they're hot!
My only "changes" from the classic builds has been +2 frightened flunky + 2 restless mummy. I prefer the added removal over the "maybe it sometimes works" taunt package.

Except the Quest decks aren't even close to being the best decks in the Meta. The only one that looks viable is Quest Shaman, but it's not so clear how to even build it. Likewise, Highlander Mage is the only Highlander deck that has proven itself so far.
Mummy is better than Commander in some cases, but distinctly worse than others. I don't know how many taunts you are running, but I can't think of one that is "broken", so I am skeptical of your build. And seriously, most of your competition is pretty weak so I wouldn't generalize too much on your personal experience.

I went 12-2 in the brawliseum. But tooks me ages. Pretty boring to play a control deck. I used theo's deck : https://twitter.com/neon31HS/status/1159044227327844353 taunt package : 2 flunkys, 2 tomb wardens, armagedillo and zilliax + plague of wrath + 2 mummys
Only control warrior/cyclone mage are close to be optimised so we can't tell if they are the best decks compared to the other new decks. However, they are good decks for sure.
If you want a save option control warrior is the go to deck it can beat everything but prepare for long matches, so for gold/time ratio its most likely not the best deck.

"I went 12-2 in the brawliseum". Please. A sample size of 14. Give me a break.
Nobody is saying Control Warrior isn't a really good deck. Zilliax is an auto-include in the deck, and I don't mind Flunky in it at all. But the bigger taunts are a bit sketchy to me.

Just try it and you'll see that it's a braindead deck.
According to the stats : armagedillo and tomb warden are the best cards of the deck
I'm not a fan of warrior, but the taunt version looks fun because it's a welcome change from them running nothing but removals. It's definitely a viable deck verse aggro. However, once the meta settles, I think greedier decks that can hold off aggro but apply huge pressure mid to late game, will start to emerge and be T1.
Possibly an optimized deathrattle or mechathun rogue?

HS Replay statistics can't really be taken too literally. Just ask all the people who thought Rafaam was good in Zoo.
Rafaam never had a good "played" winrate in zoo, but the decks with him still did better than the ones without because he would turn some certain losses into wins. He is also a meta call.

I don't even look at the Played Win Rate column. Leeroy must have one of the highest played win rates in HS, but it's not that good. Etc.
But more to point, a bug in HSR stats led people to believe that Rafaam was a keep in the mulligan vs Warrior. How did they screw up this bad? They explain it in a recent article on the site. But you probably know all this.
There is a difference between data and information. Statistics allows one to transform data into information, but there are a minimal set of requirements that have to be followed in order to do this. The data on HSR does not adhere to these requirements. And this is assuming that it is being calculated correctly.
Hello.. i want a strong deck to craft. What deck did you face and you feel is OP?.
Control Warrior??

Mech hunter is likely going to stomp any version of control warrior
I’m pretty sure people will learn to play around Murloc Paladin, whereafter the winrate will plummet. Surprised quest Shaman isn’t Tier 1 tho
First of all, I would rather have my teeth removed then to actually play AS Control Warrior.
And I have never said it is a high skill deck. It most certainly is NOT.
Boom is the best card in the deck, based upon general knowledge and backed by the statistics you just quoted.

Highlander mage is big mage with few new cards in it is same deck last expansion.
anyone with a good mech hunter deck?

Bring back wonky deck swapping mechanics like Togwaggle Druid. Had an absolute field day with slow control decks.
Big daddy paladin is one of the best deck now. When u draw prsmaltic and king phaoris ur enemy will concede
Signature move
I dunno, control warriors are easy snacks for my quest priest teching Recurring Villain
