So yeah, i knew this trick from a long time but i was simply not in need for dust, so never bothered.. Then my dust was running low after some crafts and I thought, well i might just gain some dust from extra cards..
You go for your collection and select all the cards (so you get all the cards and not only the ones in the standard format) and you type on the search "extra".. when you disenchant extra cards on the button, you get ridd of extra copies of the same card, like if you have 5 common of a card you disenchant 3 and keep the 2 that you can use in your deck, but if you have 5 non golden coppies and 3 golden copies you will get rid of 3 non golden and 1 golden.. so you actually will have 4 cards of the same (2 of each)..
Since i no longer care about golden cards as I used to, I decided to calculate how much dust I would gain if I disenchant all the golden extras, and well, it was 19050 dust!! its way more than what i expected.. i can craft lots of meme legendaries or borderline epics now and still save for future uses..
So yeah, give it a try, you may have a "free legendary" sitting on your hidden pile of dust and may never know it.. of course, if you care about the golden cards, you can disenchant the non golden version, but it won't be anywhere close.. or you may save that spicy beautiful golden card you have but, oh well, to each its own.. as for me, i'll try some meme decks i always wanted to try..
Only if you have more than 2 they are counted as "extras" in case of Disenchant Extra Cards. Been using the "extra" filtering option frequently since they implemented it, as I dust any golden cards of which I have 2 normal ones. 50 dust here and there, and you have a nice epic or a leggie. Thanks for the advice, maybe some folks will find it useful ;)
I think it does "extra" gold cards doesn't it? (As in, if you have more than 2) Maybe I'm mistaken?
No. His point is, when you search for "extra" you will also see the golden copies of cards that you already have 2 normal copies of. When you have 2 normal and 1 golden copy of a given card, the search will highlight it as "extra". The button will only disenchant extra copies of golden cards, i.e. having more than 2 golden copies of a card, regardless of how many normal ones you already have.
Thanks for this, "missing" is a very good one that i didn't know..
Missing is kind of the best I always use it to calculate which pack to buy.
Type missing and then count in which packs you miss the most commons. Buy this pack until only few commons are left and you get a Legendary, then switch to the next and repeat. Once only few commons are left in each pack, count the rares and repeat, then the epics. You don't have to do this with legendaries since they are always no dupes anyways.
This way you get as much quantity of new cards as possible.
Oh my gosh dood how did I never think of disenchanting my extra cards??? :0
I would advise against this. Save your extra cards that are likely to be nerfed or Hall of Famed in the future. This strategy has actually netted me a "free legendary" worth of dust in just one patch before.

But given the OP had almost 20k dust locked up in extras. It is costing you a fair amount in dust that is unavailable for use. So at the most I would keep only cards that are possible nerf candidates.

Unless you actually have something you want to craft dusting cards is a bad idea.

Yeah, a toast!
There is also a button in the crafting section which lets you do this in one click... ;-)
He's talking about disenchanting golden cards too, which that button doesn't take into account (well technically it does but not for his purpose)

Ah - awkward wording, by the looks of it. Ok, no problem.
Yep, fastest way to find golden cards that are safe to disenchant without crippling your deckbuilding abilities.
Useful search command new is another

Thank for the advice but i cant discrafted my golden mecthun even if i got it in normale version

You can also type "golden" to get all the golden cards you have, not just the extras.
More useful if you want to see the ones that are crap, like epics and maybe even rares, but do not have extras.
