As many of you know, Blizzard is one of the greediest companies in the gaming history (this is one of the many reasons why they are so successful) and whenever a new expansion comes out 90% of the packs are opened on the first week.
Naturally around that time Blizzard deliberately decreases the chances to get legendary cards from pack just so people would be forced to purchase more packs to complete all of their desired packs.
So my question is when do you guys think that the chances be back to normal?
Also if any of you have already opened up your packs please share with us how many legendaries you got and how many packs you have opened.
I’m waiting till friday night to open my packs with a friend since we both don’t really have time the rest of the week. I don’t think blizzard is deliberatly decreasing legendary droprate tho. I dont believe in these kind of conspiracies and the droprate has been the same since the release of the game (except for the first 10 packs).
Gonna open atleast 136 packs. Might even buy some extra with gold if I’m not satisfied yet or am close to the pity timer.
Yeah dude, that sounds like a whole lot of bs to me. I opened my packs as soon as i could yesterday and i had the best opening ever with 13 legendaries, three of which were golden, from 132 packs.
I didn’t wait. I opened 148 packs. Prepurchase 80 bundle, rest gold, had 6k dust. I have all legendaries, 1 from log in, 1 from prepurchase, 11 from packs, crafted one gold, rest not gold... I did dust 2 gold legendaries I opened before, milhouse and lady in white.
I had really good pack rng for the amount i had, i opened 20 packs my login quest was the mage quest and i got every other quest and sir finley from packs. Dusted all of them to craft zephrys and brann never lucky

No one knows this - except salty people. Please show some facts because I guarantee you that there are F2P games that are way greedier than HS. As for Blizzard other games: Overwatch receives new pretty often and if you aren't buying skins you get all of this for free, HoTS was fair, and Diablo/Starcraft/Warcraft 1-3 was fair. I can't speak for WoW as I haven't tried it enough to say if it is worth the monthly subscription.

If Blizzard deliberately decreased the chances of opening packs this would be caught by the thousands of users who opens packs and keeps statistics over this. There has been more than one situation where something went wrong with pack-statistics and reddit and other forums has caught these quite fast.
So my question is when do you guys think that the chances be back to normal?
They are always the same. It sucks for you that you think like this because you are missing out on the funniest time in HS: The first days after release is where you can experiment without facing meta decks, and people play more wacky decks
The OP is both right and wrong. Blizzard IS one of the greediest companies in the gaming history, which is why players are quitting in droves for other games (like MTGA and TFT). That said, HS drop rates are not variable, to fix them like the OP suggests would be unlawful.
I really don't think they messed with the rates. I don't believe they would get away with it as easily as you think. There are plenty of very extremely tech savvy people that can find shit like this out. If something like that was exposed, it would be huge.
In Rise of Shadows, out of 130 packs I received 4 leggos, which is the worst luck I've ever had. I had to purchase almost 300 packs on launch to get the full set and be happy.
This time around, in my first 133 packs, I received 10 leggos and 2 of them were golden. This is the best luck I've ever had.
This is stupid. I opened my packs right away and got more legendaries then i should have on average. No reason to wait because of some imaginary conspiracy.

It's just the luck of the draw imo. ;\
i'd wait until the week before the next expansion drops, legendary rates are sure to be increased about that time
