if you are playing hearthstone purely to "have fun" and for no other reason, I would say you are in the most absolute extreme minority. you cannot expect blizzard, or any company, to care about the 1% and quite frankly I don't understand what you think you are accomplishing by playing in that way. just go play standard like everyone else.
Really? So 1% of people playing Hearthstone are doing it for entertainment and fun? And the other 99% are doing it for what? Here I thought the whole point of playing video games was some form of entertainment... (unless you are a professional gamer and it's your livelihood.)
nearly every single person who plays hearthstone either plays arena, ranked, or wild. if you are a "casual only" player then yes you are in the 1%, without a doubt. in fact, 1% is being quite modest. If I want to be more accurate i would say .001%. also, OP did not say he was playing for entertainment. he specifically mentioned he was a weird fringe casual player. that's not entertaining in any way.
I don't care what the OP said. This is what you said: "if you are playing hearthstone purely to "have fun" and for no other reason, I would say you are in the most absolute extreme minority."
Thanks for speaking on behalf of their entire Hearthstone community, apparently you know everyone better than they do, lol. With that type of confidence and unsubstantiated claims you should try being an entrepreneur with that level of power in mind reading.

You just made up a bunch of numbers and pretended they were real. Are you going to run for president?

imo casual can be fixed by just playing better tbh.
Lol what? This might be the most non sense thing I've read on these forums.
Ah yes, he goes with the "git gud" response basically. In other words the guy is just putting zero thought process into a response and instead resorts to a troll post. Ignore trolls like him, I do.
I think the bottom line here is that Blizzard needs to get more involved. It's just how to go about it? It's a tough call.
People keep saying take rewards away from casual to make it better. Not true. People will still play it even if they don't get their 10g per win. I say go the opposite direction and make rewards more substantial in ranked or take away the per day gold limit so people will go into ranked to play more as that is where the money is.. well gold in this case.
Hearthstone is a very different game now than it was when it came out and in the few years after. Once you could find a lot of different homebrews in casual and ranked. Now it is all meta and quite boring as why I went to Wild.. which also has it's issues of the same decks being played but there are more of them and you will come across more homebrew decks there in casual as well as ranked.
Make ranked more appealing to the netdeckers and that may open up casual to what it should be. There really isn't anything wrong with netdecking in casual and a good test of homebrew decks to see how they compete and compare to the netdecks.

you are "putting zero thought process" into your gameplay, so I wouldn't criticize.

A lot of fuss here about nothing.
The best solution is to just instant concede the games you don't like.
You have absolutely nothing to lose and it will help you get "funnier" opponents in the future !
