What a nice off-topic answer @TardisGreen. I just can hope that not all of your 1,000 posts are that toxic.
Pretty sure he is on topic and just described your original post pretty well. I would refer you to the salt thread, but I'm not sure if it still exists or how to find it. I'm sure you can locate it.
Another one. Okay let's try this again. Hopefully you are able to understand: I did not complain about aggro decks beating control decks and therefore I want to have control cards; neither did I complain about specific aggro cards. What I was saying is that I miss control tools to play with.
I know it's senseless to answer to you, as it is not your aim to understand my post, but I hope I can prevent others to post the same false accusations.
I guess Plagues are not considered control tools. Neither are taunts. \
Oh wait! You want value cards. Yea, I don't see any value cards either.
I guess If you can't put 10 cards back in your deck then you're screwed.
Oh yeah shaman's, warlock's and rogue's plagues are certainly control tools and can't be used in a more efficient way in aggro decks, sorry. Taunts are basically for warriors only.
I don't know if value cards would be the best solution or cards that put other cards into your deck. Maybe there could've been even new control tools/concepts. But yeah, we're clearly missing those.
Well, if you limit yourself to a single style of play you have no right to complain. That's like someone who played nothing but Aggro Shaman back when it was the top dog requesting more borderline broken cards so he can keep steamrolling other people. The current iteration of Control Warrior is obnoxious enough to play against, do you really want other classes to become as powerful? So that the only question left is "who can build the greediest deck?"
Wow. Okay, so as a control player I am not allowed to miss control cards in new sets. And the comparison is just bad. I am not saying I want OP control cards, not at all. I am even saying that Control warriors in their current state are not satisfying to play against. I just want to see control-related cards, that are in my opinion very rare in SoU. I've never said something you accused me for. But nice try.
The comparison is not bad, it is you who literally wrote "I am a Control-only player." So yeah, my point stands that you have absolutely no right to complain if you refuse to adapt to the respective meta game and prefer to act stubborn. Also, it's kinda funny that you didn't reply to my question about the aforementioned cards as these are Control tools. Given all the cards, are you unable to envision e.g. a competitively viable Control Shaman or maybe Priest? Also, remember that Control and some of the classes naturally don't go very well together.
tl;dr - Sorry, there is not "way too much Aggro/Combo and way too less Control support". It's just you.

The comparison stays bad, as you are not even referring to it or trying to justify it. I'll quote it for you again: "That's like someone who played nothing but Aggro Shaman back when it was the top dog requesting more borderline broken cards so he can keep steamrolling other people." An absolutely unfitting comparison, I already told you why.
And yes you mentioned some control cards, probably the only ones, which does not refute my statement in anyway, as I was talking about too less control tools. And as you may have noticed: Blizzard indeed gave control tools to classes that "don't go very well together" with the control playstyle (i.e. Tess, Rexxar).
"Sorry, there is not "way too much Aggro/Combo and way too less Control support". It's just you."
- Well that is at least an answer to my initial question. Thanks for your opinion.

All you are doing in each reply is whine about how others responses are to you. Stop being so sensitive. Control has gotten a lot in this expansion. Maybe the problem is that you don't know how to build a good control deck and just netdecking warrior.

I don't even play control/bomb warrior in standard. But yeah, if you have nothing to add to the discussion and just want to spread some hate and false claims, you should probably go ahead to another thread.
"Edgy quote about being too smart and suffering for it" - Literally who - 1890 Yes I am better than you, my signature implies it. Annoying Random colours.
I am a bit worried that a current standard control warrior list without new cards may be stronger than any new archetype.
Yes Control Warrior is still bonkers and probably plays 0-2 of the new cards. There will likely be some combo with Elise that gives it a miserable time though, which will pick up momentum at high legend early on and quickly flow down to other ranks.
If you are a control player, you should welcome aggro tools because control is favored over aggro.
But reading further, I see you are actually complaining about midrange tools. And in fact, that is the thing that most impresses me about this set -- the strong midrange presence. I'm sure Team 5 wants to prove it's possible to knock Dr. Boom off his pedestal without resorting to the Hall of Fame.
So yeah, sorry it's not your cup of tea, but I'm quite happy with what's in store. My only disappointment is that they are giving Warrior another infinite-value tool that we'll have to live with for the next two years.
Wow, a reply you can actually discuss with. Thank you.
Well, I think that control decks actually are better against midrange than aggro. But, yeah, I was probably also referring to midrange tools. In any way your point is probably right and control decks (with other classes than warrior/mage) will have a better time in the new meta.
However, I still miss cards within the classes (apart from warrior) that really support new control decks, even if I think that you're right about Blizzard reviving midrange will be a plus for control players in general.
OK, but it's not exactly a matter of opinion. Defeating aggro is actually the reason control decks were invented.
But I've noticed a lot of decent control tools in SoU, to be honest. if you aren't seeing them, you're not looking hard enough.

aggro is king
