That's it. From 1049 playable cards in Standard format, just 5 (!) are relating to Elemental synergies in any way. That's below 0.5%. It's not even about half of them not even seeing any serious play, but about a total lack of synergies to allow us to build Elemental decks in Standard.
Murlocs get some sort of support every recent expansion. Mechs are obviously over-represented. Even the competitively non-existing Dragon archetype gets love. But Elementals? Nope. Nothing to potentially allow for some Elemental based deck. I'm not asking for strong synergies. I'm asking for any at all.
I'm assuming you're wrong because within seconds I see you missed Elemental Evocation, which is a very strong card in the current meta. And on top of that, the biggest elemental expansion just rotated out. On top of that your argument is just plain wrong? I can point out a bunch of expansions that don't have support for certain tribes. On top of that, you're naming synergies, but every single elemental is synergistic with the tribe because of how they work. You know this already, because you put Menacing Nimbus in your list, which has no synergy, it just creates elementals,

Good catch! Just checked the Wiki, seems like there are a total of 8 cards. Doesn't make the situation any better, tho. Can't edit my entry post for whatever reason.

But you're being arbitrary. Most mechs don't have mech related text on them. They just synergize because of magnetic. Same with elementals. So you could put every single elemental card on this list.

Challenge accepted! My fingers needed a workout. Listed below are all Elementals or Elemental-related cards in Standard as of Rise of Shadows.
So, yeah, not a ton in Standard compared to Wild, but they're used for a wide variety of things. If you wanna point out an underutilized tribe, check out Totems. Or even Pirates, which have seen less support than Elementals have.

You are missing at least a couple: Elemental Evocation, Scorch, Elementary Reaction ...
But you are correct, elemental-themed decks are not viable right now.
