Freedom of speech is one of the few wonders life has to offer (at least in the free world) and no one (not even you OP ;) ) has the right to tell others what to say or not. >:-( Are you a dictator or what???
I get your idea, but I doubt that blizzard is not at least checking the fan pages once in a while to read about fan ideas.
They go on Reddit. They never come here and why would they??
Might be different at Blizzard, but at Jagex we never ever went to look on Reddit for useful community feedback. We would always use fan sites as they had better affiliation to the game and company.
I would hazard a guess that Blizzard probably do at least something similar. Especially for a site as big as this on the community, and considering many of the major streamers use this site too.
Thats only based on personal experience of course - I dont claim to know where Blizzard devs choose to hang out for their community needs.

They talk about going on Reddit to read comments constantly. They post cards on reddit. They have AMA's on reddit. Glad you're a mod and know what's going on with Hearthstone. Inspires great confidence in the new staff. :P :P :P
First of all, I know for an absolute fact that one of the higher ups in the dev team is an active poster on this forum.
Secondly, the "go play another game" crap is always the most idiotic of idiotic responses to criticism. Yes, I care. Yes, it matters to me. Precisely because of those reasons, no I'm not going to go play another game.
Is that really true? there's a higher up on here? I really want to see that, that changes a lot. And I agree "go play another game" is not a great argument, but I think we can all enjoy this game a lot more if we just talk about the good parts too. Blizzard does a lot that we don't like, but whenever they do something nice we say it's not enough and move on. It would be nice to just talk about how great hearthstone is sometimes.
hmmm, for a second here, imagine you were on the HS dev team, wouldn't you like to know what people think of the game you've been working on?
wouldn't you like to know if people actually like something you had spent countless hours designing/coding/testing?
I bet you that 90% of the dev/design/qa team goes on here, in the end it's the biggest fan site dedicated to HS(after reddit I guess)
the other thing for them would be to find out if the decks that they've been expecting to see have actually been discovered, yes I know they have their stats in their DBs but it's always worth it to see what people are saying
A post complaining about other people complaining. Sounds about right for this site.
A comment complaining about a post that complains about people complaining. God, the loop is endless!
Not a complaint. If I had a complaint about it I would go to another site and not use this one. I rather enjoy this site other than a couple of the mods who have no place being a mod here or anywhere. It was an observation about this site.
In all seriousness, it's not my secret to tell. I was standing over a dude's shoulder at Blizzcon one time as he logged into Hearthpwn. No more or less sexy a story than that, except to say he's still around.

Helpful Clarification on Forbidden Topics for Hearthstone Forums:
Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.

Please double check what I wrote. I never claimed that Blizzard dont look at Reddit, I said Jagex hardly did. And I said Blizzard likely checked Fan sites rather than not at all which was the presumption
And being a mod doesnt give me privy to personal info about Blizzard devs and what sites they visit.
Anyone who makes a "i'm uninstalling the game" post should have their account IP banned. Then we'll see how dedicated they are to "uninstalling the game."

What? WTF dude, are you a dictator or what?

C'mon dude, just say it!!! (or send me a private message :P)
They gotta nerf Barnes to 5 mana and nerf Mana Cyclone to three mana and then I can play my wild games in peace.
They took my trophies....
Half of the complainers genuinely want the game to be better. The other half just seek attention.
Fr. Quest Mage is something else rn.
That lol
THAT
Someone should make a "The problem with the "The hearthstone has a problem posts"posts" post.
Preach
I'm still waiting Shadowrisen... -.-

Kaladin was Ben Brode.
True story.
