I've recently taken a break from HS for multiple reasons, not all salt related. I randomly found Stardew Valley a week ago, and I can say without a doubt it is the best way to calm down from salty experiences from HS. I never thought about a game like that for my playstyle, but for those looking for an alternative solution to hardcore gaming look no further. Give it a go, even if it’s only in between games.
More people need to realize that they can play and do other things. For 99.9% of the player base, HS is not their life, and they need to stop acting and reacting like it is. Stardew Valley is an excellent game.
My other phone game is Dragalia Lost. A very simple (for most of the content) game with an endless grind. No PvP, which I find quite good for the calming
HSing since beta. Never salting. You have to admit - it is a shiny coinflip interpretation. Used to play time to time few games for fun (during several years it is something about 4-6k wins in stats). Seems to me that enjoing game process itself (with ~50% result in a long run) results in mostly glad and joy.

Amen to that. I found that I was just addicted to the game. And to a lesser (well, maybe greater) extent, addicted to this site. It’s a great site, but I found that moderation helps a lot. I shouldn’t talk though I guess, because now I’m addicted to this damn farming game lmfao!

Some people are passionate. I'm sure there is something you get salty about too. Perhaps a childhood movie being recreated in real life made you upset for an example. There is no cure for the internet drama so it's best to avoid the salt. I have never heard of this game but I'll check it out. I'm mostly playing Skyrim AGAIN so thats what I'm up to.

I found myself quite relaxed when needing a HS break with Civilization V.
HS is what I play to relax.
