Hey all, I have been very frustrated about Blizzard pushing mixed archetypes for Paladin. I hate rush decks and as it seems from the current reveals, Paladin is yet again getting another archetype thats revolved around drag and drop. I will wait until the full reveal to decide the switch to another class, specifically Mage. Currently I only have played with Paladin, 1,000 games and only 20-30 with other classes. I feel like Mage is going to be a blast next expansion with the random hero power and the control archetype it posses. I would love some feedback from the community if I should maintain my course of maining Paladin or finally switching to mage with their control archetype? I know this is more or so a personal decision but what do Mage mains feel about their current state?
I have to agree, the first three reveals are pretty unexciting/uninspiring, but we'll see with more reveals. Maybe quest will validate these cards, I would be surprised if they didn't due to how curious these cards are
If you've been maining Paladin already in year of the dragon I see no reason why you'd already be considering stopping.
If you "can't wait" to drop the class for mage next month you obviously aren't enjoying Paladin very much currently, despite 3 seemingly weak card reveals.
Maybe wait to see over 50% of the new Paladin cards. And more than just of the 10 neutrals.
Your definitely right I will wait until the end, I actually have been playing Hearthstone since its launch date haha but never committed much time. Well have to wait and see!
I've been maining paladin since the very start of hearthstone. And I think the cards that were just announced are going to be pretty interesting.
The most fun deck I've ever played was the midrange paladin in GvG that had muster for battle + quartermaster in it. The cards just announced seem like they would make a midrange paladin/tempo paladin possible again. Generating and drawing cards with early drops to get to the lategame powerhouses that shut down your opponent. At this moment I always feel like I have so little power early game. There is so little to do.
Hopefully these cards change your early game struggle and the cards yet to be announced will back this up.
Also I hope there will be some support for the heal archetype. I'm playing a heal paladin between ranks 3 and 5, if it gets a little more love, I know it can make legend!
(I'm only talking about standard btw, not a big fan of wild)

Great work on class identity they've been working on.
