This is true but I believe the OP is kind of an "adding Insult to injury" kind of post. Not only do they do all of what you just said, they even take away our favorite card art.

They are fundamentally different items, and the expectations should not be similar. There is no ownership of a service game in the same way there is ownership of personal property.

I agree with the sentiment of this post - the constant gameplay/visual tweaks should entail a dust refund.

Take an extreme scenario with the art: If Blizzard altered the graphics of all the Legendaries with a black & white Anime aesthetic, would you agree that a dust refund is justified?

Why not just leave the art as is and going forward, apply a more kid-friendly aesthetic.

Let’s be real - Blizzard roped traditional fantasy enthusiasts into the game with a somewhat more mature take, and have decided that they will now cater more toward middle schoolers and/or conservatives for the extra cash. 

It’s people like the one that originally created this thread that keeps Blizzard in check. If no one ever said anything, then one day it could be your favorite card/s that get the shit makeover.

The constant gameplay, card cost, “balance” changes are very disconcerting. It should be a very rare occurrence that Blizzard changes a card, and the original purchased card should remain in one’s collection, and another format added to accommodate the original cards, no matter how “broken “ it may be.

FWIW - with a few exceptions, here and there, HS began using all-original art during LoE. Prior to that, the game was regularly using pre-existing art assets whenever it could - some of the art design in the vanilla sets pre-dates the release of WoW. If you look at the art from LoE forward, there is a distressing lack of tits, ass and blood - the ladies have tits, but they didn't use them to get their jobs.

That's four years without any camel toe. The current spate of "outrage" would appear a little more genuine if the folks currently pretending that Chinese feminists are taking over the world had began bitching about the game's lack of titties a few years ago. Presumably, none of the little shits even noticed - because they don't honestly care. However, pretending to be upset is an RPG that lots of folks play on social media.

Apologies are hereby extended to all the legitimately offended gentleman that have been rage-posting since LoE, complaining that Elise Starseeker didn't flash us a bit of her little purple titties.
