I do so love it when people get lost on here and forget to take the turn to the salt thread. Great source of entertainment, please continue to put out such fun content!

The gameplay and cards may change at any time.  Get used to it.  If Blizzard decides to make changes to any game they own, they literally owe you nothing.  

They could completely change one of your favorite cards and give you nothing in return.  This is what you signed up for when you started playing this game.  

Think of all of the free stuff they give to you.  Free Legendaries, free packs, new expansions, flavor, solo content.  You can download this game and pay nothing and have lots of good cards. 

They give this to you for nothing, and this is how you repay them.  Stab them right in the back and demand dust.

Blizzard isn't dying in the traditional sense, it's not as prestigious as it was in the past after all the shit with WoW, the mishandling of Overwatch, diablo immortal etc but it's still profitable.

I think OP is saying blizzard's soul is dying but I think that is wrong, Blizzards soul died off years ago

Dude calm down. They bear no effect on the gameplay, don't matter at all, the art is still freely available elsewhere and they've already explained why they made the changes.

 It is broken. It needed a change. Not for you, not for me but Chinese censorship made it necessary and they are one of the biggest market

Here's a tip; we don't own shit.  We play a game that they own and control and have all rights to.  We agree to this when we sign on.

I don't agree with the changes, but this isn't a scenario where the game owes us dust.

and that's why dear gamers, the game/stream services the big publishers are heavily pushing right now, is not a good thing.

Not to be overly flippant, but your post comes down to "they care about something; I care about something else.  They should care about what I care about"

It's a complete apples to oranges comparison, there is no hypocrisy involved.  Given the monetization practices of some companies, Blizzard is STILL on the consumer side of the norm.  That doesn't make the prices enjoyable to pay, but I could sit here and name games with more absurd models . . . starting with the entire EA catalog . . . until YOU got tired.

Typical forum fanboys making every excuse for b.s. decisions. Yes, card art is absolutely a reason people play this game. If the card art started out as cartoonishly ugly, or the characters were of cutesy stuffed animals, then this game would never have become nearly as popular, regardless of "the gameplay mechanics being exactly the same." The theme of a game is just as, if not more important than the gameplay itself. Blizzard changing the game from what people originally paid for, is absolutely a legit reason for people to be upset the direction the game has already gone, and will continue to go in if nobody speaks up. It is like if someone painted the color of your car or house to something childish and ugly, and then the fanboys brainlessly say, well your car and house still function the same as before, so we just can't comprehend why you don't just bend over and enjoy getting screwed like us fanboys do.

You seem bored of HS, just take a break, that's all I do when I feel burnt out, I just go and play other card games or other games in general and have some time away.

I mean there are still cards like whirlwind from warrior that has blood why not call out that hypocrisy or aviana being basically the same as wind fury harpy?

FWIW - with a few exceptions, here and there, HS began using all-original art during LoE. Prior to that, the game was regularly using pre-existing art assets whenever it could - some of the art design in the vanilla sets pre-dates the release of WoW. If you look at the art from LoE forward, there is a distressing lack of tits, ass and blood - the ladies have tits, but they didn't use them to get their jobs.

That's four years without any camel toe. The current spate of "outrage" would appear a little more genuine if the folks currently pretending that Chinese feminists are taking over the world had began bitching about the game's lack of titties a few years ago. Presumably, none of the little shits even noticed - because they don't honestly care. However, pretending to be upset is an RPG that lots of folks play on social media.
