I’m sure OP is talking about a playable one. Dropping Golakka Crawler without a Pirate on the board never felt too bad. Can’t say the same for E.M.P. Operative on a board without a Mech.
I think because of Magnetize, any card that would eat a Mech needs to be a little over-costed. Dropping a card like E.M.P. Operative that cost, say 2-mana, would feel pretty bad if it were killing 2-3 Mechs stuck together.
2 mana 2/3 beast, battlecry: destroy the enemy hero and gain +1/+1.
Now we have tech for every deck in the meta. BOOM! No thanks are necessary. If there are any Blizzard people reading this thread, make sure to credit me if you use my idea. ;)

But in this case the mechs get charge and already deal damage, a easy tech way to deal with this make magnetize more risky, it is one of the reason we need a good tech.

There are already a lot of good techs for giant Mechs, Faceless Manipulator, Ironbeak Owl, Spellbreaker, Shieldbreaker.

Silence helps a lot against Mechs. It doesn`t help against a wide board of Mechs, but for that there are enough conters (AoEs, MCT...). But against big Mechs a Spellbreaker can win you a game!
Blizzard should make a special stream lessons or youtube videos in which they explain the the only way hs should be played is with supa dupa 1000 IQ control/combo homebrewed decks and 30 minutes long match is a minimum time period that proves you're not braindead blah blah something etc.

The one card that pisses me off every single time though is Dr. Boom, Mad Genius. It is the most frustrating card ever! One minute you are completely dominating your enemy and have lethal next turn and the next, your opponent has 14 armour (from the card itself and hero power) and all their mechs have rush so you can't even rebuild a board. Now there is a card that needs to be Hall of Famed asap.

Add more silence to your deck. It's extremely efficient against mechs - and other decks too.

because silencing other pirates was worthless, silencing mechs is far more efficient than silencing pirates
