Hunter always manages to find it's way to the top somehow, and now it has had a tier 1, or at least extremely strong tier 2, deck for what? Over a year?
What exactly is it about hunter that always makes it find a way to the top, where it almost never has a low, like most other classes?
If you could change one thing about hunter, what would it be? Change the hero power? HoF some classic cards and replace them with less powerful ones like they did just now?
- Make Dire Frenzy into a legendary spell so there's only one copy (you're still able to get extra copies from discovery etc) and hence the deck cannot rely so fully on buffed beasts with rush or charge.

Isn't mech hunter the best deck right now? Or at least secret?

i find it a much more balanced challenge than beast hunter variants, since there's no Zul'jin or Dire Frenzy. It's surprising that you can use a single card to challenge control decks at what they're good in (multiple copies solves fatigue / running out of steam).
Just like with Rexxar, Hunter still has tools for keeping the pressure on even through a long match.
Hunter has been trash tier many times. Every Class in Hearthstone has had periods of domination. Spell Hunter was a joke for the longest time, as was DK Rexxar until Rotation and a little bit of fettling from Team 5 made him God Tier Good.
-If you take early face damage hunter will constantly threaten lethal due to hero power, kill commands and Leeroy Jenkins
-some mech interactions are broken in general and hunter manages to benefit the most due to some pretty powerfull class specific mechs and mech interacting cards
Since not a single hunter card has been hall of famed yet I would argue that its about time (same is true for warrior btw). Some of my candidates would be Tundra Rhino, Animal Companion, Kill Command or Unleash the Hounds. Removing Leeroy Jenkins would also weaken the aggressive potential of hunter and other classes and might be a good choice in general. Tundra Rhino or Leeroy Jenkins would be the best picks in my opinion because they would not hurt the "class identity" to much and it would be in line with Blizzard de-emphazising the charge mechanic in general.

That might be true but there is a huge imbalance between classes in how often they were top tier. With Rogue, Hunter, Warlock and Druid to some extend it usually feels like they are only one good new card away from beeing top tier, while priests need to get pretty OP shit to be in the same league.
In fact beside the spell hunter phase (during which I recall were still some more aggressive variants using some Scavenging Hyena and general beast interactions) I cant recall any other time in which hunter was not really competitive.
What exactly is it about hunter that always makes it find a way to the top, where it almost never has a low, like most other classes?
Personal View: It has always been one of the more faster and aggressive classes / set of decks. And the entry-point value is low (low cost minions / cards to craft) so more newer / F2P players tend to focus on these decks first. That is part of the reason for its popularity. And then when you get decks that can make quick easy wins like Mid-range or Mech Hunter, others jump on it too.
If you could change one thing about hunter, what would it be? Change the hero power? HoF some classic cards and replace them with less powerful ones like they did just now?
The Hero Power, for sure. It's ghastly - I've always said so. And I also am in agreement with Kibler's opinion that the Hero Powers have been a probem for Hearthstone because they impose horrible limitations on the deck archetypes and what the class can do. There are no Hunter-Specific cards that stand out as problematic in Standard right now, to my knowledge; There's some frustrating synergies such as Missile Launcher and Venomizer, but not what I would call particularly OP or problematic - especially since half that synergy is neutral anyway.

I agree with most of what you said, except for the Missile Launcher + Venomizer combo. Cards/Combos like these become a problem when it is so far outside their class identity. Many people have cried about the interaction between Unleash the Hounds and Scavenging Hyena, which is actually the epitome of what Hunter should do: sufficient trading while buffing their Beasts. Venomizer/Missile Launcher is AoE, something Hunter should struggle with on default.

Master's call is the most broken card draw card in the game. 3 mana draw 3 beasts is even better than draw 3 from the top. Especially with dire frenzy and zul'jin replaying it. It's massively under costed. The card needs to be nerfed to 5 mana and it will still be good.
Blizzard said card draw and generation is meant to be a limitation of hunter. Why do the have the best card draw spell in the game then?

They just printed Khadgar, yet want us to believe Mage is bad at minion swarms. There are many examples but they all highlight the incompetence on display and the point is clear, they think Dr.Boom is fun to play against.

Exactly. Mage flooding the board with massive minions in the mid game then freezing your board and going face is fun? A limitation of mage? I'm not seeing it. Oh yes let's give them another win condition with pocket galaxy as well.
Also face damage is meant to be a limitation of warrior. WTF are 10 bombs in your deck combined with the best control kit ever in the game. Regular DR boom was considered op. How about DR boom with 6 boom bots with rush?
This design team is clueless. They don't even stick to their own design principles for the classes.
lol at nerfing hunter. It isn't even particularly strong much less oppressively so. I wouldn't put a hunter deck in the top five best decks right now, certainly not top three.

FACT: Hunter got two Magnetic minions in Boomsday, and both of them have insane board-control value. They also got Fireworks Tech to amplify that situation.
The only other class that received two Magnetic minions was Paladin, and one of those was an otherwise vanilla 1/3.
Magnetic is one of the most powerful keywords ever introduced, and Hunter has a lot of excellent ways to exploit it.

What exactly is it about hunter that always makes it find a way to the top, where it almost never has a low, like most other classes?
Nothing, cause it´s not true. There was a time were hunter was nearly not played and very weak, also like every other class in hs. Hunter will fall sometime, believe me. Then you will have the same problem with other classes. It´s just like that.
nah mech hunter is trash. it's good at lower ranks but has one of the lowest skill ceilings in the game. It's winrate goes down the higher you go up the ladder. It doesn't have a single match win in grandmasters even in matches it's supposed to be favored like mage and warrior. It's an ok ladder deck because it's consistency and highrolls will keep you above 50% but it's certainly not one of the best decks.
In all seriousness it's a solid deck but there is no reason to nerf it. I guess the popularity is something to consider but that is just because it's the cheapest most brainless deck.

You have the weirdest criteria for what you consider a good deck. There are many, many decision points as you play it, so it's certainly not brainless.
Grandmasters is completely irrelevant because fewer than 50 people in the world are involved.
It's not just "okay" on ladder. It's actually one of the highest win rate decks out there, over 59 percent. That means one of three things:
It truly is brainless, meaning even a bad player can win with it; therefore it is actually a very strong deck, or
It is just an okay deck that many players are somehow using to beat all the other, better decks, which means it's not brainless, or
It is neither brainless nor "just okay."
In any case, there's something wrong with your argument.
(I'm not saying there's reason to nerf it. I'm just saying it's strong and not brainless, and fine as it is.)

Dire Frenzyonly shuffles 1 copy into the deck.

Scavenging Hyena Only gets attack from deaths.
