Wild is full of busted decks. We can get rid of one, but the best decks are the best, and if you aren't playing one of them, and you care about winning, you are doing it wrong.
Wild is all about playing the most busted decks. Nothing ever rotates. There are too many cards to balance anything.
Of course, this gets boring. That is one of the reasons why very few people play it. And that number will continue to dwindle.
But it is not because of Big Priest. It's the direct result of having too many cards. Sometimes more is less, and this is one of these situations. People playing their "creative decks" get their head handed to them, and just don't get it.

Big Priest is keeping me outside Hearthstone. I am a wild player and I am bored of this broken deck. It stops players to play so many decks. With Big priest your are not allowed to play any control decks and any midrange decks, only aggro. After turn 7/9 no deck can survive to Big Priest. The only way to beat him is to be aggro. Stop this shit please Blizzard.
sadly, that seems really good, but you'd still get run over by big priest. I've witnessed a lot of games where people get clever and summon minions for them and they end up summoning at least 10 squirrels with their cards and still lose... The problem isn't even the fact that they can summon a ton of dudes for no mana, the problem is that it's an uber greedy deck that can still win even vs the most aggressive decks in the game. Your deck isn't fast enough and from what I've witnessed and experienced from playing against a million big priests even though you can make their ressurections worthless, theres 1: still like a 1/3 chance they can still summon a 2 mana Ragnaros the Fire Lord over and over again, and 2: they're still a deck that runs 7 cards over 8 mana and 2 copies of Shadow Essence, not to mention 2 copies of Shadow Visions to get more copies of it. Also, you're probably going to fatigue faster than the priest because they don't actually run card draw..... Which is insane that the best deck in the game is greedy as hell, but doesn't even run draw LOL.

big priest literally keeps me from playing wild. That, cube-warlock, and Spreading Plague are the least fun things in the game to play against. 2 of which are decks that "play big minion early, then resummon it more times than removal exists in the game."
I played 3 games vs big priest when it first came out in knights of the frozen throne and I told everyone immediately "this deck is the worst thing to ever happen to hearthstone" because it was an uber expensive deck with a ridiculously low skill requirement and high power level, and it involved not playing minions that your opponent can interact with. If big priest was an aggressive mid-ranged deck that put minions on the board, and had a really high power level "kinda like odd paladin", it wouldn't be so bad. It's just the fact that this is the best deck in the game and it's the antithesis of what fun hearthstone should be. They do nothing the whole game, they never put anything on board early on so you can't make any trades or strategical decisions. Your game-plan as most decks vs big priest is just "play every card in your hand and rush him down" then they play an AoE and you lose. "Next game!". That's not a fun experience and it's waaaaaay too common to go against.
ehrr...big priest is cheap though, as most as i spread big priest hate i've been at fault of playing it to complete my win tih prest quests and when someone inquired about why didn't i play some Reno/Amara/Velen otk varian of priest the answer was that i don't have the cards for any of those, those decks are far more expensive since they require specific niche legendaries and epics, while the legendaries BP runs are all neutrals that i had crafted for many other competitive decks on the past (yes even ysharaasj) and that can fit in a multitude of different strategies across different classes heck even epics BO runs like shadow visions are kind of a "neutral" card for the priest class because it fits on every priest strategy.
Now the problem with big priest isn't is existance, it's important to have different strategic aproaches to the game instead of only catering to a small amount of players, the real problem with big priest is that it dodges tech way too easily
Big priest is a high roll deck that will beat you if you dont respect it when you built a deck. If played the deck when it was new in Frozen throne and the deck was a nightmare to play. In the 50+ games i only had t3/4 barns 3 times. When i play against it on ladder if killed them with midrange decks. You just need to kill the barns and leave the 1/1 rag alive or kill barns with the 1/1 to make the 2 mana res a 50% instead of a 100%. if won games against the deck were the1st minion they got was on t9 after playing board cear after board clear.
Talking about high roll darkest hour is just as much a high roll deck. My opponent killed me t5 he got 45 power out on t4.
I think big priest problem isnt its power level but it feel bad losing to it. The fastest it can kill someone is t5 and that need Y'shaarj into Y'Shaarj on t3. On the other side aggro deck kill you t4/5 and those games are forgettable since nothing flashy happened so you feel less frustrating since you dont feel overwhelmed by 8-10 mana stuff early.
A few days back i won big priest with a play combo card daily quest deck i just sapped his stuff out tempo him and killed him. it had stuff like the 2 mana 2/2 that make a 2/1 the 1 mana 1/2 comb get +1/+1, kidnapper, self bounce effect like daring escape and razor petals to get cheap card to activate combo the deck was horrible but it won.
The only proper way to deal with Big Priest in wild is to have a graveyard zone, similar to MTG. One where you can only resurrect minions that have died only once and not until they are put back into that zone. This will prevent several resummons of the same minions. Even cards like spellstone and mass resurrect usually abide by this rule where most of the time each minion that is summoned is a different minion. I feel like it is the easiest fix to the game and another level of depth added to priest deck building, pro to the identity that Blizz is trying to get at with a limitation in place. Otherwise, there will be major problems when trying to nerf multiple cards in the deck. There is no one issue card but rather greedy effects with no limit on how much value you can pull from a non-existent graveyard zone.

2) You have to kill him fast, otherwise up to turn 7/8, no deck can compete with him, if he is high of life
3) Due to this, big priest created a meta only composed by aggro, you have to kill fast, otherwise, no chances
4) The deck totally block many decks, like all the midrange decks and all the control decks. Big priest is almost uncontrollable and midrange deck are too slow for him
5) Yes, it is also very frustrating to play against. You know that quite sure all turn 6 he will play Shadow Essence (If he didn't have Barnes). If he will find the Obsidian Statue and you are aggro, you are most of the time dead, if you are control/combo and he will find Ragnaros the Firelord you are dead. So yes it is also frustrating because the match will be very dependent of what he will find, so, in reality, you have no power in the match.
Big Priest is a cancer, even if it is not a tier one like now, fortunately.
I don't know what team 5 is waiting, big priest is obviously broken and frustrating.
By the way, another totally broken deck is Jade Druid. Now, we don't see him very often because is raped by Big Priest, but Jade Druid is mother wrong deck.

Thats exactly the wild issue. There are a lot of very powerful decks, or not that powerful but you feel bad losing to them. We all know that big priest is cancer full of bullshit, we know that, but so it is even shaman, 90% of hunter decks, odd even paladin, mill rogue, jade druid, exodia mage...
Mech hunters, even shaman... steamroll you by turn 3 ¿can be stopped? yes, play lot of smalll minions. Exodia mage, jade druid, infinite resources (shit that should never exist in a card game) ¿can be stopped? yes, get skullking or secret eaters and pary. Big priest, multiple resurrections, highroll deck ¿can be stopped? yes, use transformation card, mess with the resspool, sap. Mill decks ¿can be stopped? yes, get an even greedier deck.
¿Do you see the point? There will always be "unfair" decks in wild. So stop complaining you cant build a decks that wins agains everything.

if beat big priest with my Jade rogue(midrange deck). If beat it with midrange demon deck all thx to guldan. And just like how they can high roll barns into something they can low roll, shadow essence into barns were they effectively did almost nothing that turn.
And if you're smart enough to know they beat you on t4/5 why keep playing. Save both players time and go on to the next game. it's the same turn agro kills you anyway there is no difference except it feel worse since they high rolled you. Aggro deck kill you t5-7 with bad draw's anyway.
If won priest deck were i wondered what the hell they were playing since they did nothing the whole game priest deck isn't even that bad in standard.And im going to assume those games was against big priest. The deck can and will sometimes lose to itself.
The deck have become better with rise of shadows the extra 4 drop did wonders for the deck.
After rank five big priest doesn't really work, it has been days in wild without seeing any BP.. anyway good luck to grind the ladder, BP is not the biggest treat out there..

Playing in EU server, but man i swear i havn't seen any for days now, today again nothing at rank 4-3, mainly shaman and paladin, one pirate warrior (was amazed, last one was maybe a month ago maybe more) but no BP, just one dragon priest!

Because Big Priest can be beaten only by Heavy Aggro. So, Heavy Aggro increased and Big Priest players are reduced. This is why is a cancer. Because this deck is broken and it is forcing people to play only aggro, because no other type of competitive deck can beat him.

I am up rank 5 and it is full of them. Even if you check the date, vicious syndicate (https://www.vicioussyndicate.com/wild-vs-data-reaper-report-17/) Big priest has 11,93% presence in rank 4-1 and 10,18% presence in Legend.

I think wild is big and varied enough now that there is a good chance you wont see the same deck that often. Except perhaps at top ranks maybe.
