Glad it was an option in the poll and all of this silly drama that the people who support OoC are creating here is not helping OoC.

Might be more helpful to end the drama and those that want to go just do so without the speeches and flaming.
I like this site and curious to see how that site will evolve and plan to use both. 

Like everyone else here, I don't know Flux. Only interaction with the mods I have had are when I got a warning for cracking a joke  in a post.
Could care less about people who police a forum. The ones who develop content are what matters for a website and content was pretty lacking here on Hearthpwn other than just general news that was on every HS and Blizzard related website. In the past year even some news stories weren't here or posted after the buzz died off.

Hopefully with a little more competition out there for ad dollars both sites will step up and we will have more articles aside from news and what the new tavern brawl is.
I wish both the best going forward and look forward to visiting both.

  If out.of.cards start offering unique content or articles I would seriously consider at leats a partial change, because you're right there has been a lacking of content on hearthpwn for awhile now, to say nothing about the community which I've felt has always been great.   I'm less concerned about site aesthetics, more if I'm learning about hearthstone; otherwise I would watch like j_alex or some other stream to scratch that itch.

I personally couldn't give a fuck who runs this place so long as they keep the news updated, frankly if they fix up the UI a bit they already are doing a way better job than Flux ever did.

Ads are a non-issue when uBlock Origin exists. But with or without ads out of cards has a shit website design and will take a lot more work to make people jump ship. Besides hearthpwn and outofcards aren't  the only two websites with a fourm. I'll move to the blizzard fourms before I move there if they don't hire or find someone to do a proper job soon.

Relax, Hearthpwn is 6 years old and outof.cards is just a few months old.  Can't really compare the two in terms of design.  

Weird that you say that though, since it's got a very similar layout to Hearthpwn right now. 

Why would i leave before seeing how the site is maintained? If the new people keep up, i have no reason to go somewhere else.

I understand that but shit design is shit design. I'm not going to jump ship over some dude or dudes I never cared about and some sob story. Right now out of cards is simply an inferior version of hearthpwn. I'm not going to download some crappy version of hearthstone on steam because they are indie or something, same thing here.

That's funny, because I switched to mainly using OOC for the same reason.  I have nothing against the new mods/owners of HP because they aren't Curse but the site itself is full of bugs and looks terrible.  I can't even upvote decks and comments here with Chrome.  On my brand new laptop.  I've got friends asking me to upvote some decks every so often and it's (the site, not the friends) absolutely infuriating that I need to open this site on Edge to do so

The edit post function doesn't work every second time and quoting people in comments section is still broken.  Maybe OOC doesn't have many functions but at least they've promised to add them rather than starting off with existing functions and leaving them around to rot

It's funny to see the Out of Cards fanboys still coming here to post and talk shit. Yes, do take it out on the new owners instead of Curse/Fandom because somehow it's the new owners fault. That's very classy and mature, so is this what we can expect from the Out of Cards community? A bunch of childish trolls.  Who honestly wants to be a part of that "community" that stoops this low, no integrity whatsoever. Whoever gets mad then I'm talking about you, you aren't doing Out of Cards any favors by being a douche bag here, just saying, lol.

As a former mod of HearthPwn who will not be around, I would like to say to give the new owners a chance.

Why OOC was created and maintained was to develop a fansite that would not be restricted by companies/higher-ups. I'm not sure how the new owners will be like, so if they improve HearthPwn, good for them!
