I appreciate the support shown for the old mod team here but don't go too hard on the new owners or users who choose to stay. Arguing over what happened doesn't help anyone, really.
Are there card/ class design competitions on OOC? That’s my favorite part of this sight. So many creative ideas!
There will be, don't know yet when though. The big season finale here coincided with this even bigger "finale" of the old mod team, so there will be some Fan Creation downtime on OOC too if the FC mods keep their schedule.
I'm leaving. This recent news is akin to resurrecting a corpse. The talent that matters has already left the building, so I sure as shit ain't staying.
That's pathetic behavior.
You know absolutely NOTHING about those new guys. Give the ****ing guys a chance to prove themselves and THEN move on if you don't like em.
Precisely - we know absolutely nothing about them. I'm choosing to side with the people who have been cultivating this site for years - and who, by the way, even offered to buy it and were turned down only for this complete 180 to then happen - rather than those who have absolutely no history with the place whatsoever.
If you think it's pathetic to want to move to a site which Flux and co. aren't just running - they've built it up from scratch - then by all means stay. You do you. But I completely disagree and stand by what I said.
As far as I'm concerned it's in the interests of anyone loyal to HearthPwn to move on and join the people who actually made the place what it is. But if you wanna' stay on this barely-functioning dumpster fire because a backhanded corporate buyout isn't enough of a deterrent for you then go for it. Have fun.
Regardless - cya folks, o /
You know what, I was going to argue with you but fuck it, I don't feel like it.
If you want to leave, be it. Don't ever look back my friend.
Thats just beacuse you know hes right!

This makes an interesting read, it's a letter Flux posted from himself last night on Out of Cards, explains a lot for those of you wondering exactly what happened etc.
but the bit that clearly annoys me and many others is the fact that Flux wanted to buy this site to keep it going but was told it wasn't for sale (full shutdown) and then guess what....last night we all find out it has been sold to this new Magic company or w/e it's called. lol, like me and many others have already said, proper dick move.
I feel no particular loyalty to the old crew, but I'm willing to give both sites a chance to provide good content. If Hearthpwn gets too horrible with ads, I'll definitely leave. Likewise, if OOC takes too long to become as user-friendly as this site, I'll stop going there.
Right now, I'm not in love with either of them.

So many people here are defending OoC and how bad this site is YET they are still here and not there. OoC is dead. Barely any replies to anything on the forum or in the articles posted yet this site is a hot bed of activity..
Some people are also acting childish as if the new owners are to blame for the current situation of Hearthpwn. At least have the integrity to acknowledge Curse/Fandom made the decision to initially deny Flux. Perhaps, a better offer to acquire the site was made...
This website is shady. I'm transitioning to the other one.
Yup, shady indeed. There are so many bad redirects from these Hearthpwn adds that I feared my new tablet had a virus just from visiting this PoS site. Total SCAM, cookie, WTF redirects...
I am writing now only to put in my 2cents and then I will only visit OoC. I can not imagine this site ever getting better than it was before this whole shitdown bs started. Bye!
It looks like Magic Find purchased all of the Curse forums. More than one mod team had moved on. Curse probably set deadlines to archive the sites in order to pressure any interested buyers to close the deal.
As for the survey, I'll use both sites for a while.

Probably both

It is just a freaking website about a casual childrens cardgame. Who cares? I really dont get how this is important to some people....
FYI, the "children's card game" meme died in 2012.

Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
until OOC gets a deck tracking feature so i can see how much dust I need for a deck, I'll mostly likely stay here

Just like Big Priest. How atrocious! Resurrection isn't allowed here! D:
Petition for Jaina's boobs to return please. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Both probably
When you can have two options, then why restrict yourselves to one... EZ
will be using both, there is no such thing as too much hearthstone
I would like your comment but but the like feature doesn't even work on mobile here xDDD! Right behind ya!
I'll go to OOC, that's for sure. Might stay here too, though.
It's way too early to say.

The best part about Hearthpwn is that I can ignore users like User there.
