Wasnt there the same furore over Archmage Vargoth as well? That didn't even qualify as a Nerf Target.
It's just all over the place because its new, and free. Same as Vargoth. The Meta will settle down in a few days then you can start crying over something else.
I make this topic this early only to troll the "anti-nerf police" members. :P
But the card for now have all red flags from Patches and Creeper, we see if is only for the new content or if the card is really OP.
I just made a SN1P SN4P Hunter, sorry dude. That Flark into SN1P SN4P combo looks too juicy. I can't imagine how busted it must be in Wild where you can discount "Snippity Snapples" to zero F'ing mana though. Surely that is pissing people right off.
If you could get bombs to stick then necro into free Snips, then start trading off the bombs to get double damage to face off each one. I'm sure there are better combos than that, but that's the one that I first thought of as you could just infinitely stack them and go face as well if there were no option to get flashy with it.
The card is trash on wild I can't attest for standard but on wild it's niche tier at best. And if a card is trash on wild then it def shouldn't be nerfed
The only reason it is in every deck ATM is bc it's new and everyone has it. It is not a quality legend, it is sub par, part of me wishes I could I dust it
It's still pretty "meh" in paladin because paladin is still pretty "meh." Plus, it has anti-Kangor's synergy, which is a bummer.
So far, I haven't seen Token Druid use the mech shell well. I think the VS list is bad, and a lot of people have copied it.
It doesn't look like it's necessary in Shaman - Murloc or Overload.
Maybe it makes it's way into Mech Combo Priests...because priest literally has nothing else.
I think it may stay around in Zoo Warlock since Wargears give you a way to end the game.
So far, it only seems OP in Hunter where it's married the deathrattle and bomb archetypes into a better deck. And this is mostly because of the buff to Necromechanic. Sn1p Sn4p is basically just a 3rd replicator.
tl;dr I think SN1P SN4P is an excellent card, but I don't think it's OP.

I've been having better luck with the card in a shaman deck I built TBH. Maybe it's mainly due to me being new at bomb hunter and not being able to play it to it's full potential yet, but I've not won loads of games. Granted when I get to cast it like 2 or 3 times it usually does impact the game.
I honestly don't think it's that busted though in standard, unless you'e playing a warrior then, then it will smash you. anything aggressive completely steam rolls bomb hunter, and SN1P-SN4P doesn't change that.
Also I've not done any combos with Necro yet, but what I'm seeing is the card is most likely going to be cut, and will only really be used in more death Rattle orientated decks. There's just not that many ways to combo it from what I'm seeing in bomb hunter, it's too expensive and takes a few turns to set up to get huge value from it.
I'm still trying 1 copy though as I'm sure I just need to learn the deck properly. These are just my first impressions.
I almost go along with your opinion. I say "almost", because, what you wrote is absolutely right in many cases. But not in this case. This card is totally broken in WILD. If you've got luck, you have around 40 DMG OTK in turn 5, and moreover, this combo is neutral... This fact is sad. Even thought, i agree, the reason of SN1P-SN4Ps popularity is the excitment, we will see, how it changes. :)

This is the deck I mean specifically. I took it from Tempe443 (Who hit #10 Legend with it), and made one change. (He wasn't running Shaw which seems crazy to me.)
I'm not sure if this is the deck's final form, and the meta will guide what happens. But I like a lot of what this deck does. It has reasonable card draw. It has reload. It can remove tall threats. It can go wide. It can go tall. It's fast (magnetic, mana cheat, & rush). It has 1 rare but awesome AOE.
It does a lot, and it feels like a good deck in the way Bomb Hunter never felt for me.
Of course they are not going to nerf it... the whole reason it exists is to create the meta that Blizzard has decided they want. I personally think it is terrible but they knew exactly what they were doing with this last patch.

Do you not have a phone? :P
Always expect the unexpectable!
this shit legendary must getting nerfed, sn1p sn4p otk'ed me a lot times with mechwarper, summoning portal and coppertail imposter.... -.-
Expecting a nerf on this card.... yet ... not Leeroy Jenkins, Savage Roar or Bloodlust ?? Good Luck... Blizzard loves stupid shit.
See you guys next year.
-DadamE
To be fair Leeroy already was nerfed, how broken the card was in rogue when cost only 4 manas.
This card is so interactive to play when you have mechwarper/ any cards that reduce minion costs. Thanks Hearthstone.
This reminds me of Shudderwock, when the first time it was introduced, plebeians would cry out because a counter wasn't figured out yet...
Yes, let us not allow the new meta to settle and cry for nerfs!!! Let the new Nerf Inquisition begin!!!!
Let's make 2 of the three best classes even better...wtf were they thinking? Brainless hunter and warrior were not good enough yet?

Let the people play there busted card once the hype of card dies down only wild will suffer b/c wild is where all the busted cards go to die
Actually I'm gonna make that much Hunter dech before I call it trash but ATM it's not doing much for me

I'd like to have two questions.
Why do you think, those calasses are "brainless"?
What can you see, how can warrior use the new card?
