Hearthpwn

I've had an account there since March, but this is my home until it shuts down. 

I'm probably feeling a bit like others, feeling "I'll transfer over there, if/when the site gets more active....and it's not really active right now."

As someone who has been on this site for a while, I am willing to be proactive in making the new site active.  I'll start some discussions and threads and get things going.  Let's do this yall!

I will go in time. For now, HearthPwn is still my choice. There is no point in hastening the abandonment of it; and deep down I have the irrational hope that it will not be shut down after all.

Habits die hard and there is certain pride to be drawn out of being at a site still under construction and being an early adopter. I will be there when the time comes.

 Our chaos god was actually one of the first non-mods to make an account when we first started as HearthStation. He hasn't been very active so far, at least I haven't noticed.

 I would like to, at some point, but can't now.  One reason, the "Decks " section.  If you filter by "Standard" it still shows Wild decks. For example, go to Priest, filter to "Standard".  There is a Dragon Priest deck listed that contains Dusk Breaker and Drakanoid Operative.

I would love to switch to Out of Cards, but the colour scheme hurts my eyes. It's too dark for me, I just can't read the forum without straining my eyes and giving myself a headache. Unless the colour scheme is changed or an alternative becomes available, I'll probably just emigrate fully to the hearthstone subreddit and use hsreplay for decklists. I wish the best of luck to the creators though, I really appreciate the work they've done on hearthpwn.

 This happened because decks that existed weren't flagged as wild automatically after the functionality for formats was implemented. The plan is to run a script soon to refresh each deck so they are flagged properly.

yes. I am still commenting here as I want to hit 5k before it closes, but otherwise have moved over. I am having problems uploading decks here now anyway so I kind of had to. ha ha.

 I actually prefer the darker look. I think the expac logos look great on the decklists as well against this background. 

I have high hopes for the new site. Already looking great. 

Why not both? Goodness knows I'm willing to read both for a while and see if either -

Develops a decent win/loss tracker (preferably one that also works on mobile so I don't have two DBs)

Gives me options to help improve my game

Etc.

I will once the site looks better.

You're in the minority for sure. HearthPwn is a laggy mess even with ads completely turned off. I've spent 6 years of my life on this site and it's the one thing that has held true the entire time.

Not only is it unprofessional, it's patently untrue from my perspective. I don't have ads turned off, and I very rarely experience lag. Some of the forum functionality gets a bit weird at times, but at least this site HAS the functionality I want.

What happened with Fluxfashor?  Did he get ousted here?

I thought the reason to shut down the site was due to a Curse affiliate issue.  But now Hearthpwn continues? I like Flux and appreciate all he has done over the years - trying to figure out if I should stick here or go to Out Of Cards.
