I wanted to point out how ridiculous the concept of judging a player's skill by his deck choice, but you won me over with your first reply.
The ONE and ONLY sure-fire method to tell a bad player (other than the inclusion of "dank" and "swag" in names, of course) is the belief that RNG is responsible for long-term performance in the game. I understand it's hard to accept when you sometimes lose games based on no mistake or deficiency of play, but sooner or later if you're going to keep playing this game at a high level, you have to get it through your head that any ONE game is not the issue. Hearthstone is an iterative process, and skill differences only manifest over many and more games.

Helpful Clarification on Forbidden Topics for Hearthstone Forums:
Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
The easiest way I have to spot a bad player is if they, as a warrior, use their hero power before they swing their weapon. This mostly applied during the Pirate Warrior meta but I still see Bomb Warriors and Control Warriors doing it on ladder right now.
It doesn’t change anything for pirate warrior because they don’t run shield slam. Or am I missing something?

You know you are a bad player when you miss lethal.
Or, you know you are a bad player when you play a different card than you intended to because you fat fingered it and wasn't paying close attention.
Or, you are a bad player when you hit end of turn after playing a random effect but before seeing what it ended up doing.
And... that's just about it. I know I'm a bad player when I do these. Everything else... it can be hard to judge. One man's genius play is another man's epic failure. Often you have too many unknowns to know what the right choice is. Sometimes you take a big risk and it pays off, it might be your only way to win, but to your opponent, it can look like a total meat-head move. But they don't know just how hopeless your situation is.
I generally think of myself as a good player, I've got a good sense for odds, I pay attention to the meta decks so I can counter them and so on. But... I get lazy and I goof up a bit too often to call myself a great player. In CCGs the best players are the ones who almost never make a bonehead move when they are trying to win.

I have few 10-12 years old players in my friendlist. They play aggro decks, cause they’re not capable of think well the difficult combos yet (like activating lackeys you mention), they have ‘funny’ nicknames and get morose while they’re losing. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were clicking ‘hello’ every single turn.
So you’re not complaining about bad players, but about the way the small kids act.
After all meeting all kinds of players with all kinds of decks is exactly how the casual mode works, no reason to be sad. :-)
You know when you're facing a bad player when; He has a name like; Swagbruh or DankMemes or A random food or random item like 'Buttermilk' or 'HepaFilter' as their name. We also have the "watch out we have a badass in the house" names like 'killyoubro' or 'Annihilateyou' or 'Yourpwnd'. Add in bad spelling and numbers or cradle the name with x's at the start and end. Sometimes we have the bad players who compare themselves to deities like "GodRank' or the opposite like "GodKiller'. Then there are the slew of pants names which I see about quite a few a day like 'grumpypants' or 'swagpants' but really all the pants players should be called 'ClownPants'
Oh good to know! So everyone named Ruslana is a pornactress and people named Bob are builders/contractors.
Check the names on this list from the top HS players in Feb2019 and you're first point is proven wrong already:
Or instead of focusing on just one part of the post to reply with you take the whole thing into the proper context and see that it is a cumulative description of a bad player not just one off observations that make the whole.

Well of course I know how to. He's me.

I hate when people think they are good by topdecking the right cards at the right time.. its fucking amazing..
Yes, people calling themselves random food names are automatically bad...look at Ostkaka
See below post :) bad players also do not know how to post properly on forums.
Thank god I play mage mostly.

What a noob lol, the way you win this game is by dropping your opponent's health to zero, if you aren't going face then you're clearly losing.

1 turn on hearthstone
2 play opponent
3 if he doesn’t know how to count for lethal.
