I´m not dusting cards, unless I need the dust right at the moment (like for example before HoF, to be able to craft all the HoFed cards golden and make the biggest profit). I have some useless golden cards lying around and I´m aware of them, but I don´t see the point in dusting them now. If I need the dust, I know they are there and can be disenchanted, but destroying them just for the sake of seeing a larger number of my dust is not my way. I am also very cautious and stingy with the dust, thinking thrice before crafting anything and even if, I´m mostly crafting only for the mage class (I think I haven´t crafted any legendary that wasn´t supporting a mage deck, for other classes only some epics). I´m also f2p, but right now I have stored enough dust using the method I use
Every single one. They are ugly and dust is much better. Actually i rly think about dusting a golden legendary and immediately craft the normal one from the 1600 dust when i get a leg i want in gold. Odd, yeah, but.......gold is so ugly.
Unless it's a card I really love (Ysera) then I dust it. The only cards I've ever crafted in Golden are Whizbang the Wonderful and double Renounce Darkness. Because reasons.....
i do if i already have all avaliable copies of the regular ones, that's how i managed to actually grow a collection,
edit: there have been some exceptions to this though, Kabal Crystal Runner and Journey Below because i think they look amazing in gold and are part of what were my favorite decks at one point or another
Molten Giant because of yugioh-animelike sentimentalism, basically one of my first giants was a golden one and i had fun with it but ultimately had to disenchant it to stay competitive so i promised him that i would get him back some day and when giants got Hofed the first thing i did was creating 2 golden ones.
and Shield Slam because for a long time i had to play control warrior with my single copy of shield slam which happened to be this one, so it feels like an old friend that i wont disenchant.
rest of golden cards that i already had maximum regular playable copies of got disechanted, even things like ragnaros, Tirion and grommash
I dust gold cards only if i have two normal copies of a card. Also, if I think, that card is a bit op, I don't dust it until some nerfs come, hoping, that this card will be nerfed and I will get more dust from it. This is what happened to my golden prep two days ago. I had one golden copy of prep and now I have two normal copies and 800 dust
I want to craft a card for a deck idea and need the dust
It's a recently nerfed card and I already have 2x normal ones (for example, I had an extra golden Preparation in my collection, hell yeah I'll take the 1600 dust).

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
if it’s a legendary i want i keep it untill i get the regular one but in general i dust all golden card. Except my golden whizbang but then that’s the ultimate gold card

What makes them ugly? They’re animated and some of the animations add a ton of flavor to the card. I love playing full golden expensive decks.
Just curious. I'm a 99% F2P player. I'm more interested in having more dust than I am in having gold cards, so I regularly dust any extras I have.
Anyone else do that?

Gold definitely not ugly in the slightest, but I do always dust my golden cards at some point when I need dust
I am no longer a F2P player, buying 100 packs per expansion must disqualify me on this.
But I was one since launch till MSG (were I bought 40 packs) and never dusted a single golden card I didnt have two time till that moment or since.
Even have Regular and Golden Don Hancho in my collection till this day.

If it's gold and i have two copies of it already it's getting dusted. It's the fastest way to fill out your collection and remain FTP.
I dust gold cards, unless it's one I want to play and don't have it a regular copy.
That's what gold means to me:bonus dust.
Im keeping all golden as long as set is in standard. Dusting all golds (except legendaries) when rotates to wild, that i barely ever play.
I do, but with one single exception, my beloved golden Tirion Fordring, because..
..PUT YOUR FAITH IN THE LIGHT!!!
Even though I’m not F2P, yes. Every single one except basic ones which cannot be dusted. I hate partially golden decks.
If I have 2x, never. If not one and I’m done opening packs, most likely.
I am 100% F2P for 21 months now.
Yes, I dust all golden cards if I have a couple of regular copies. It's simply a must fo me to create some competitive deck to play.
