Thanks to Elysiana nerf, Control Warrior vs Control Warrior matchups have downgraded to "Whoever goes second wins", simply because there's no way for the first player to get 20 cards from Elysiana since the second player can just save removal to get rid of it.
While, the second player can just double Elysiana for 20 cards, that's a 10 card advantage. In a control matchup. Massive advantage.
*Shrugs* Perhaps warriors should actually try a little harder to kill their opponents then before the 10 card advantage makes a difference? I don't really sympathize with these 'Do nothing' attrition decks where their classic play is to hero power and pass.

Good luck with that one, mate. Aggro decks can’t even kill them before they Eleysiana. Unless you’re running the bomb package, the second player will always win.
Lol what. You think people are gonna still run brewmaster/banker just for the 50% chance so they can bounce it? Just for the mirror? In a meta where rogue is nerfed and anti warrior decks are gonna be more popular?
Brewmaster is not a bad card on its own, it can bounce Zilliax and friends vs other matchups. And not only does it help vs the mirror, it helps vs Control Shaman as well. And even if you go first, It also creates situations where Elysiana acts as a psuedo-taunt where the opponent is like "Do I have to remove Elysiana now in fear of Brewmaster or do people not run it anymore?". But honestly, it depends a lot on the upcoming meta.
Given that the counters to Warriors in general are going to show up more thanks to Rogue not being around, there will be a lot less Warriors around in general.
Thus can you really afford to run Elysiana when most of your opponents aren't running Warrior, and many that do are going Bomb?
Looks like a good nerf to me. Go ahead and save our Baleful Banker to use with Elysiana on the off chance that you get to it the next turn. I don't like carrying dead cards in my deck.
Tbh if you play a deck that's sole purpose is to delay until fatigue and then refill your deck, thus wasting half hour or more of someone's time, I can't really sympathise...

10-cost Elysiana would've been much much better.
Well this actually sounds good to me. Control warrior is one of the most unfun matchups in the game when the player go for the ultimate late-game gameplan. If what you said is true them you can safely concede (or you now...try to actually kill your oponent with minions) if that happens and be happy.

Warrior will still be one of the few that can actually beat brain dead decks like token druid, mech hunter, beast hunter, and conjurer mage.

What? Mech Hunter, Midrange Hunter and Conjurer Mage love to meet warriors. All these decks pretty much counter warrior.

No I don't think people will play warrior for its losing matchups, and I don't think running Elysiana in those matchups will help it.
the deck probably won't continue to run brewmaster/banker just to win mirrors 50% of the time. Especially with so many bomb warriors running azalina instead of their own archivist so they can steal archivist + bounce against control war.
people should just play bomb warrior or mechathun and actually try to win a game and you are favored against control war in both anyway.
I don't even get why people still play control warrior. bomb war has a better matchup spread and a better winrate at legend now that rogues have backed off a bit. it's pretty much the same deck except you have proactive plays so your bad matchups don't just roll over you.

As a control warrior player, I just want to say thank you. Your sympathy means nothing to us; we only feed on your anger and frustration. With every rage quit and salt thread we become stronger, more determined, more certain that we're playing the 200 IQ deck and everyone else is a brainless noob... mwahahahaha!!!

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.

I just can't believe they are acting like this was the only problem with Warrior.
