I am glad that blizzard has seen that rogue is a problem and decided to nerf it, however judging on the nerfs announced, this is far from enough and rogue will be nerfed further in future announcements.
The current changes feel like a half baked approach without enough conviction, they might as well done nothing.
Except for the preparation nerf, being correct, the other two nerfs to miscreant and raiding party hits the wrong spot, this nerf will only slightly affect the good rogue players , the bad ones lets mana float all the time.
Nerfing Evil miscreant to 4 health does literally nothing at all, the lackeys will still be too strong, making it 3 health is what would be better, but since the lackeys are the main problem what they should have done is just make it generate 1 lackey with 1/5 health.
Raiding party at 4 mana seems fair, but honestly 5 mana to tutor 3 cards seems more fair.
Edwin van Cleef and wagglepick are not addressed and should have been included in this nerf for sure, how do you deal with a 2 mana 8/8 which happens more than often enough.
Rogue has an abundant of too strong cards that they aren’t able to fit in the deck and what this does is just shift some cards around back to hench clan, burgle package etc while still being the same oppressive deck with no counter play.
Rogue needs to be nerfed further .
No, it wasn't enough as in there are about 10 non rogue cards that need nerfs. Conjurer's, Soul of the Forest, the 5 treant twinspell, savage roar, scavenging hyena, just about anything in mech hunter, underlight angler, mountain giant, sea giant, etc.
These nerfs were play-rate nerfs, rather than power-level nerfs. HSReplays has consistently tracked Tempo Rogue in the middle of Tier 2 since the new set launched - as of last night, the deck was 7th best on ladder, with a play-rate more than double that of the second most-popular deck. Against the ten most-played decks on ladder, Tempo Rogue is currently favoured against five - it has a win-rate above 54% in only one of those ten match-ups.
It's already a pretty fair deck - apart from Token Druid, its best match-ups are against other aggressive early-game decks. Presumably, the post-nerf meta-game will have a lot more Hunter, Zoo and Murlocs.
The nerfs were probably fine. Raiding party is basically too bad to be played in any serious tempo rogue deck now. 4 mana to maybe be able to draw 3 cards is just too bad. Prep nerf probably won't be super influential at least for now in tempo rogue, since the only spells that cost more than 2 are Myra's and Raiding Party. Raiding Party probably won't be played anymore and Myra's will still be strong at 3 mana, just probably not quite as insanely powerful.
Tempo rogue to start with isn't really even that oppressive and at the moment its winrate puts it quite squarely in the range of a tier 2 deck. It doesn't need to be nerfed into oblivion, just adjusted in a few minor ways as it was. Guess we'll see once they go live, though.
I'd like to think that OP is just a troll seeking for attention, if not then i'm sorry to inform you that we cannot nerf every single card you lose to, that's just not how the game works.
First of all based on the fact that blizzard ARE in fact only targeting rogue means that their internal data suggests that ROGUE is the problem class and the main problem. All of you complaining about an upcoming warrior meta have no clue about this game, every single class can make a deck to defeat control warrior with ease, if they become meta I can tell you this, but if you do some due diligence in reading blizzards post on the nerves you can also derive the same conclusion , their data clearly shows that WARRIOR has a LOT of unfavorable matchups, A LOT, only rogue are keeping the meta in check by being oppressive, by making rogue a fair class again instead of the broken piece of crap it has been for a while, it will lead to a meta more diverse than ever.
Also the nerf to raiding party and miscreant are rather shitty, if you think the nerf to miscreant is relevant, you need to play more rogue and see that people play it for the lackeys , you can still play it bounce it, play it for tons of value, who cares about the body.
Like I said the nerf to prep is the only decent nerf and STILL preparation is too good of a card in my opinion, this will be far from enough to tame rogue. I do agree conjurers calling need a nerf as well.
They should increase all rogue cards to 10 mana but even then someone would say hero power needs to be nerfed.
OP, you are a clown. These Nerfs have battered Rogue. Not just Tempo/Pirate but almost all Archetypes. Preparation Nerf not enough? Are you high?!
Making it a 2 Mana discount instead of 3 is a 33% Nerf. That's a lot.
Raiding Party needed a hit and I'm glad it got one. No more Turn 1 draw three cards. That's awesome.
EVIL Miscreant is.... Odd? I don't think that was necessary and I would have preferred Waggle Pick to be nerfed, but hey ho...
In any case, asking for more Nerfs just shows how little you understand about the game and balance in general.
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔

Stop spreading that lie that it's turn 1 draw 3 cards. It's turn 1 discard 2 cards draw 3.
That person literally only posts to be derrogatory specifically to the OP, safe to completely ignore people like that.
If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.

Preparación Nerf is devastating.

Pretty sure these nerfs are necessary. Just look at the playrate of Rogues since ROS came out.
Rogue was almost God Tier please. They're going to screw also CTRL warrior. In mirror matchups it'll be almost always a win for the man with the coin.
