First off it's nice to see a positive thread trending right under the inevitable "Heist is a bummer" thread. I have all of the solo content for Hearthstone and this is by far my favorite.
What they've done right:
1) They've nailed the difficulty level. The bosses are hard at the later stages, but not impossible. I completed Chapter 1 on the second try and Chapter 2 on the first try. Perhaps some would consider this too easy, but I say it's fun. I celebrated the wins and look forward to giving them another try.
2) So. Much. Content.: 9 classes, 3 powers each, 3 starting decks, 5 chapters. That's 405 runs to try everything for you completists.
3) The Bartender: Brilliant. Best new addition to the formula. And is that the Rock doing the voice over?
4) The crazy mode: Haven't tried it yet, so can't give it a thumbs up, but it's a great concept for extending the value of the content.
All in all I'm very happy with my purchase.
P.S. No I don't work for Blizzard. Just givin' praise where praise is warranted.
Won't rate the adventure yet but I got wrecked on my first attempt as early as the second boss. His heropower randomly distributed all minions on the board on both sides and guess what, he almost always had like a 3 to 1 advantage after each turn (not to mention that he played basically Beast Hunter with lotsa token minions...)
Hopefully the other bosses aren't total RNG fiestas.

Nah, that boss is fine, it's just a little bit tricky and you have to play around it
The minions "rotate" on the board so that means only your most-right minion will be given to the other player. So if he has more than 2 minion
If you're wondering why I bothered posting this is because I've been playing since Beta, and my favorite memories of Hearthstone are the Solo Adventure content and the accompanying heroics. With how utterly disappointing Rumble Run was, and how Puzzle Labs had no replay-ability, this Solo Adventure was refreshing to say the least.
Also, winning in such a wacky way was hella satisfying.
Refreshing? I have only played the free one but to me, this is the same shit than any other dungeon run. Just much easier.
Another bullshit opponent. Jesus Christ, who the heck thought it would be a good idea to put BIG PRIEST into this adventure?! Also coupled with sorta Pint-Size Potion as heropower! As if it wasn't infuriating enough having to vs. this abomination of a deck every day in Wild...
It's irritating that most bosses are a breeze but every now and then you encounter someone who is WAY more powerful than the others. Not as bad as Rumble Run, but still very unbalanced.
/edit - The next run I lost to the fourth boss by summoning a random Howlfiend off Faceless Summoner, followed by the opponent discard half my hand and me having to start over. Which by the way, also ended hopelessly at the final boss because I was unable to get on the board (him having 4 mana at the start didn't make any difference, eh...?) and had to concede - on turn five. Thanks, but no.
It has brought much more fun than even I expected. I am not trying to sway people’s opinion either way for we are all entitled to our own; however, my experience has actually made me laugh and brought huge smiles to my face.
Having the game give you a surprise ice block against a 17-17 Pogohopper allowing me to win the battle was a jaw dropping feeling. Having a treasure summon 5 Ragnaros was even better.

That second run doesn't sound like a problem with the adventure. It just sounds like you were unlucky.

i love this adventure too
That's hilarious!
It does feel like the possibilities for crazy combos have intensified, and I love it.

I agree - new Solos are a ton of fun!

It's usually better to not play anything.
I had 3 swamp king dreads, with +4 healing per turn. Get two of them out and just sit and laugh.
