Just seen this:

According to a few people so far, they've managed to get Zale (the new legendary minion like Whizzbang) from a pack after an arena run - though it may not be specifically Arena reward packs, of course.

I may have to grab a few packs to try it myself.

I am assuming this is a mistake from Blizzard, since you can't actually craft Zale yet...

Hmm. possible. Though I dont know what the point would be of taking him out since the update was for the patch that would release him (which is going live tomorrow) so they would have to release another patch to remove him by the end of today to do so. 

I would expect they are likely to just accept the error and ignore it.

Whizbang offers a total of 9 (i think) deck recipes to play with. Zayle will offer 5 EVIL decks, which supposedly are different from deck recipes. So i'm really not sure about Zayle being the 'new' Whizbang. 

 Sure - I know his effect is different (in that he doesn't provide a selection from the deck recipes) - but I think it's more that Whizbang is the closest we have in comparison, hence why the phrase is often (if somewhat mistakenly) used. 

Who knows? Maybe we'll also get a card that offers the actual same effect as Whizbang - or maybe Whizbang will be updated.

I tested some of his decks already. They are pretty much meta decks. So far i only played priest, shaman, rogue...for some reason it gives me always priest...

I have a winrate of 7-2 with Zayle decks from rank 5 to rank 4...

 That sounds pretty good. Good way for F2P players to get used to the curernt meta decks.

 Nope they are the same. Actually I think this one overcreeps the Whizzbang.
