I really like it. The game feels a lot more about fundamental play without a lot of the huge swingy cards rotated out and no baku+genn. Rogue and Warrior kind of put a dark cloud over the meta by being overtuned but I think the nerfs will fix that up. Hopefully the nerfs are taking so long because they're making sure they hit the right things and that nothing else won't end up super broken after those two are pushed down a bit. There are a lot of fun things to play right now.
Miracle Mage is super fun and has a lot of crazy shit going on. Every game feels different when you have so much RNG, but it's still consistently powerful. It's a deck that might have some broken interactions with giants + conjurer's calling but overall it's still super fun.
Big Shaman is a lot of fun to play for me. Shaman in general I think suffers from Rogue/Warrior brokenness but big shaman does some cool stuff that shaman hasn't been able to do in standard for quite some time.
I love token druid as well. I know a lot of people probably don't care for a deck like that but I've always loved token decks so having some fresh stuff for token decks is nice. Acornbearer and Keeper Stalladris are two of my favorite cards from the set for sure.
For me personally this is one of the most fun metas, but I can understand that it is boring for others. As a mage main, I´m happy that incredibly fun cards like Mana Cyclone are viable
I'm okay or content with how things are currently. What is most sad is that people don't experiment more and it gets old rather fast when facing the same decks over and over. Warrior being the worst as I don't even feel great about beating them. The neverending amount of removals and Dr.7 on curve feels really bad. It's just a waste of time and a dull experience no matter the outcome.
I play mostly rogue but none of the tempo or Nomi nonsense as I'm personally into more value oriented gameplay and board interaction.
Duel paladin and mech paladin is also decent but I can't play any of them for long as I usually end up facing mostly mages or rogues where chances are slim to win.
I personally love farming rouges with control warrior and playing long games against other control decks managing my resources, I know im in kind of a minority but yeah

Kobolds are almost as bad as goblins, they gotta die (⌐■_■)–︻╦╤─
The only thing I don't like about the meta (and the game) now is, how much they pushed the RNG-factor of winning games with those "discover" mechanics from 3 of the lackeys, Hagatha hero power, Dr. Boom hero power, Elysianna in a control vs control matchup, Power of creation, Shimmerfly, Marked shot, etc. etc.
It's not that I don't like any of them. I most definitely do like them all separately. But I think it's just too much of a deciding factor right now. Or at least I feel that way (also got that feeling watching the World Championship).

im a control player myself but warrior is incredibly dull.
there is literally no resource management as you have more and better removal than any opponent has threads. not to mention you discover even more removal with assembly and boom and all your minions are becoming removals as well after you played boom because of that bs rush thing...
The game is the most boring it's ever been. Rogue rogue rogue warrior rogue warrior hunter. Everyone playing the same shit. Login, get the gold, log out. What kind of braindead mouthbreathing neaderthals do they have working at blizzard cooking this D grade expansion shit up. Everyone was so hopeful the rotation would spice things up but the game fell flat on its face. No ones streaming it, less people are playing it, and it's because were being fed the same shit we were already sick of and bored with. I do enjoy this game at times but part of me wants to watch it burn
most of the aggro decks need a nerf. they have to draw poorly for any board wipe to matter. i literally board wiped a murloc shaman today 4 times and he still filled his board and i lost.

Yup this sums it up pretty much. The control decks are so reactive it's not even fun. The warrior one doesn't even have any sort of wincondition besides fatigue. I compare this to BSM which had some many interesting optioions like, alana sindragosa toki pyroblast astromancer. Warrior just removes everything and then chills.
At the start of the expansion I was having a huge amount of fun with thief rogue, but then everyone started running weapon removal and I couldn't win a game. Since then it hasn't been as much fun, but I wouldn't say it's been boring.
It is a bit dull, I used to play alot but I can't really seem to settle on a deck I like. Homebrew handlock feels fun to play but it's not very effective. The meta decks aren't great to play, I enjoyed tempo rogue for a short while but it gets old fast. Control warrior is pretty much as irritating as when it was odd warrior. Zoolock and murloc shaman don't grab me and token druid is always boring. I don't like the deathrattle decks (hunter and paladin) and summon mage feels like a cheap tactic.I don't really know if it's the meta or if I just need to take a break.
The problem is the hero cards, some classes can survive without one like mage and rogue but priest and warlock are doomed because don't have a chance vs Boom or Hagatha in value game.
Hagatha, really? :P It's way worse than boom. Hagatha is definitely fine.

Yeah accuse Blizzard for people being netdeckers and meta sheeps (it has been always like that since the beginning of Hearthstone). Personally I have never played a meta deck (in this expansion) but barely manage to get above rank 3
At the start of the expansion I was having a huge amount of fun with thief rogue, but then everyone started running weapon removal and I couldn't win a game. Since then it hasn't been as much fun, but I wouldn't say it's been boring.
I am playing her right now (EU, rank 4 atm), without using any weapon(or weapon buff) with Zilliax as the sole healing. Still not performing really well, I am at 48% win rate but the 29% of my opponents are rogues. And I pretty much autoconcede against them, since you can't possible expect to outvalue them without being smashed down before turn 7-8. Warriors are a joke against this deck, even without the weapon , I use 1 togwaggle's scheme which I hard-mulligan for against warrior. Having 10-15 Tess in your deck is an auto-win against Warrior or any other control deck, if the board is not already overtaken.
It's boring, because it lacks diversity. Tempo Rogue makes people play Control Warrior, Control, Warrior makes people play Mech Hunter, and Mech hunter makes people play Tempo Rogue... There's not much space for anything else unfortunately. Tempo Rogue is too flexible (she has enough removals to deal with aggro and enough threats to beat control). Control Warrior can outvalue almost anything (aggro and other control decks as well). Mech Hunter loses only against strong aggro, because even strongest control (like Control Warrior with near infinite amount of tools) cannot deal with all those sticky mechs and charge-like effect.
Exactly the same. That’s the reason I moved to Wild with my own built decks this season, and damn so many fun decks I havent met for a while (ranks 20-15 were full of C’thun). I’m currently rank 8 where I meet a lot of Tier decks, but opponents still missplay a lot so even then it’s playable.
Whatever I play and whatever I meet in Standard, every game is completely predictable after several turns. Hope it changes with new expansion, but it is so far.

I believe so too. This is the first time in a while that I actually look forward to queuing. I am also having fun with most of my decks
Well, the wild meta is awesome. No matter which hero you are facing you never know the deck type for sure. Feels pretty balanced right now to me.

I've had reasonable success with Heal Druid and Token Shaman, neither of which are meta decks, so I'm feeling pretty good about RoS so far.
I'd be lying if I said I'm not looking forward to Rogue getting nerfed tho
I manage the Epic Tier List and Crafting Guide. Come check it out!
