I mostly play Hearthstone on mobile/tablet (iOS). On an occasional basis I will encounter connection issues regardless of the network I am using & they will always crop up eventually. I've accepted the fate that this is something I will have to put up with and usually, if I can spot that I've disconnected it rarely has an impact on the matches I play.
However, sometimes it does impact on the matches I play when I am unable to identify that I've been disconnected, this mostly happens on my opponents turn. Does this happen to anybody else? And if so, how do you identify that you've been disconnected? All features in game will work as normal, however if it is my turn it is much more obvious as playing cards and pressing end turn will not work.
I play on my phone with android, IPad and PC. I only have `silent`disconnects on my IPad which freaks me out because of the lost games while trying to climb
I play on my Android phone almost exclusively. For some reason I often get disconnects on my home wi-fi, so I usually just turn it off and use my cellular connection instead.
I play on both and it happens on both. The PC is a wired connection so not even wifi. Its happening more often lately (last couple of months at least) and not just me. Any streamer I watch for a length of time will also suffer a disconnect and reconnect every now and then.
Nothing else in the house disconnects and the my home connection is very stable so it must be blizzards end. If other programs or devices that use the internet were experiencing issues I'd start investigating but I'm confident its blizzards doing.
It drives me nuts!! In old patches it would tell me it disconnects and try and reconnect. I normally would and I’d be fine. In the current page it just stops on the opponents turn and I’ve normally lost or about to by the time it reconnects. Makes me so mad as my work PC won’t allow me to install Hearthstone and mobile is my only option.
I play almost exclusively on mobile, my Sony Xperia Xz2, and the phone is more than powerful enough. My WiFi at home is Virgin Media Vivid 200 (an average speed of 150-200mbps) so that's not the issue. And yet...
Last night, in the middle of my 6th game (after winning the previous 5) the game shit itself. My opponent, a Rogue, just froze in Mid attack and that was that. I switched apps, went back into the game, still frozen. Reset the phone and went back into the App only to find that I'd lost.

Any advice would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
It’s normal, Blizzard is a small indie company, they can’t do much about it...
I play mostly on mobile (iOS) and the connection is absolutely fine. It is very rare for a game to drop.

Mobile and PC and no problems at all.
As most people have problems on mobile....your provider probably sucks.

It's really annoying.
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔
do a traceroute to blizzard servers and send them a screenshot, they will take care of it
I'm experiencing those "silent" disconnects from February or March...

Happened again this morning. This is getting stupid.
Fix it Blizzard FFS.... 😬
