This is my way to nerf this card: make it 4 mana with 3/2 stats Deathrattle : Add A Brief History of Azeroth spell that discover 5 cards and replace your deck with 2 copies of each.
Deathrattle means that you cant replay it several times,also kills Shudderwock's advantage in control matchup.Elder version has 8 mana cost,you should waste whole turn to make a new deck,my version is 4 mana 3/2,to get benefit from her you should kill it by your self to avoid silence,low hp makes it easy to complete.So you play 4 mana minion and should spend some mana and card to make it work,thats mean you will lose some tempo like you did with old version.Also if you want build VERY control deck you can play Da Undatakah . Also i find fun A Brief History of Azeroth,Archivist Elysiana says: This history needs a new ending(correct me if i am not right i just translated it from language i play),so Archivist Elysiana gives you a book and you are rewritting history of Azeroth by discovering cards, "Brief History" because you put 10 cards instead of full 30. How about wording the card to block her battlecry if the opponent’s starting deck also contained an Elysiana.
This would still let you dominate a control deck that’s not running her, but effectively cancel her out in mirrors to avoid silly time consuming games.
For the very fact that people are wanting a card nerfed, not due to power level, but because it makes them play the match longer is absolutely absurd.
I'm glad none of you have any real say in the game's design.
Btw, DMH existed in standard and theoretically could extend the game as long as double Elysiana. Yet nobody ever demanded the card to be nerfed due to extending the length of the game. Let's stop misdirected aggro from Dr. Boom or the over abundance of warrior removal in general at Elysiana.
One of the issues right now is playing control decks is such a suffer due to the lists that include ways to bounce / duplicate elysiana. 10 cards more isn't terrible, but when it's 20 or 30 cards more that's just ridiculous. I've even seen a game hit the turn limit because of elysiana (90 minute game to end in a draw).
The logical conclusion is that we need to increase the turn limit. What is this issue with Elysiana you talk of?
What's the problem? OP reads like, "Elysianna is a problem because I personally don't like long games."
Not exactly the problem. other games force a break and will have a winner. where as here you can just go to turn limit and draw. It is not the best of experiences for anyone involved. you can have long games but lets at least decide a winner.

RNG already includes generator, No need to say it twice (as in card generation random number generator)

A neutral card that is played only in fringe cases by a single class can hardly be a problem. There is no need to overcomplicate or nerf the card.
If you don't like playing Elysiana mirrors, you can always *drumroll* put an actual win condition into your deck instead of Elysiana package.
