I just love everyone's idea of OP is a 6/2 charge for 5 mana. Have you been to wild? Home of big priest, coin + barnes into Y'sharaj on turn 3? Spare me La Fleur (in Ben Stiller's voice).
Leeroy isn't the problem. If you already know the deck and aren't prepared for a Leeroy, then that is your mistake. If at that moment your deck isn't made to go up against smorc then maybe try adding some heals. If at that moment RNG put all your heals at the bottom then that's just RNG doing RNG things. I will add that Waggle Pick is too strong of a weapon. Waggle pick needs nerf to the stats. Make it a 2/3 weapon or a 3/3 weapon, that would be a proper fix. No quick activation of shadowstep, or if you want to activate it quickly, then you have to pay 2 mana (hero power).

just because you can predict that leeroy is coming does not prevent him from coming. not all decks can be ready for 16 damage to the face all the time.

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
All the people saying Jenkins isn't a control card obviously never played it as a 10-28 damage finisher in Handlock with Power Overwhelming, Faceless Manipulator and Emporer. That stole games.
I don't think that Leeroy is the current problem, but he's always on the fringe if it.
that doesnt make him a control card, he was played in literally one (1) viable control deck and it was more of a combo deck than a control deck. You say it stole games, its called a win condition of a combo deck, it was their only win condition besides jaraxus against warriors. You had to assemble 4 cards, hit 2 of them with an emperor tick and then hopefully not have a taunt on opponent's board to OTK them.
it wasnt as bad as highlander priest, cubelock or other wild decks in wild now, if it was that good people would still play it. the game has evolved though and there are way better decks than that right now. so no, leeroy is not a control card, it was once a card played in an OTK combo.

Hence the heals/taunts/armor (i.e. anything to block damage to your precious face). If you have an aggro deck then the next step would be to "out-aggro" the opponent.
All 'charge' minions SHOULD be changed to 'RUSH'!!
You should have used at least five exclamation points and a 36px font if you wanted to convince me. The way it is, I still think that you are wrong.
CHarge has always been an issue, looking at all the nerfs and ones with charge have been nerfed a lot over the years, in fact leeroy was targeted back in 2014. See the text below looks familiar.
Leeroy Jenkins created a strategy that revolved around trying to defeat your opponent in one turn without requiring any cards on the board. Fighting for board control and battles between minions make an overall game of Hearthstone more fun and compelling, but taking 20+ damage in one turn is not particularly fun or interactive. This was occurring when Leeroy was used in combination with other cards like Power Overwhelming, Faceless Manipulator, Cold Blood, Shadowstep, and Unleash the Hounds, among others.
Leeroy had been a regularly complained about card for several months prior to this change (if not since beta), mostly due to his power as a finisher. Despite this, the above was the first change to be made to the card.
Just in reference to the control scenario, he can occasionally be useful in polluting a resurrect pool. Like when Wall Priest was raging before rotation.

And he still functions exactly the same to this day. I never knew he once costed 4 mana, that is brutal. He could cost 8 and would still be just as functional and half as bs.
I think what is really going on is that the current power levels of decks are much lower right now so individually powerful cards seem like they are broken. I think Edwin, Leeroy, and Zilliax all seem a little too good right now but they wont feel that way once more cards are in the set
Everytime rotation hits, rogue is going to be tier one. Not as many cards? No worries, I'll just fill my deck with these low cost or no cost ridiculously powerful cards I ALWAYS HAVE ACCESS TO.
Blizzard has stated that classic cards being in every deck is bad, but for some reason even though every rogue deck ever has run Sapx2, Backstabx2, Prepx2, Fan of Knivesx2, SI Agentx2, and Evisceratex2...still no nerfs except the Cold Blood nerf.
This is why the general public should never balance the game.
Leeroy is popular now because aggro is popular, and aggro is popular because there are no strong turn-3 plays for control decks, or really any good early-to-mid taunt minions in general. The loss of Tar Creeper and Stonehill Defender with no replacement is the true issue here. The lack of general AoE tools is also a problem, which is why Warrior is the only viable control class at the moment, as it does have AoE tools.
Give a couple of decks the tools to survive past turn 7 and you'll see Leeroy drop back to it's "normal" usage levels.

Yup 4 mana , does anyone remember when warsong commander gave all minions charge ? now that was also brutal
Charge in a game you can't act in opponent turn should never exists, all charges must be turned into rush.
if that's the direction, then it makes more sense to move charge minions to the HoF, but a) they will never do that because of the number of charge minions in classic, b) aggro decks should have strong finishers just as control decks should have strong removal/AOE.
Why do you think it should not exist? Do you also think burn spells "must" be changed so they can't target face?

Spells hitting face are fine, as long don't have many of them with insane damage for mana proportion, like 5 damage for only 2 manas and ways to get multiple copies, because the card was spend, a 3 manas 4/2 charge deal 4 damage in the turn was played and if opponent can't remove deal another 4 damage in next turns and so on... spells give damage 1 time and is gone.
