I just wondering what to do with all these players who are sending you invitation after you win the game just to send you some nasty sentences and then they removing your name from the friends list.
I am really tired of this as this is happening all the time now and I would like to know what Blizzard is going to do with this unprofessional behaviours by some?
Should we raise some petition to ban these idiots?
They should make some ingame function to take a screenshot of the chat (in a way that you can't send photoshopped chat messages) that way you can report it with a screenshot of proof and then the user flaming the other will get a strike along with a warning notification that if they get repeated offenses then some sort of punishment/temporary ban would be applied.
Why do you keep accepting friends requests if you know 90% will be just in order to flame you? The solution is pretty easy pal.
Also, why do you care so much? If the idiot "sends you some nasty sentences" just close the chat and move on with your life, you're caring about it way too much.

Because you’d like to accept a friend invite knowing that someone will just say “good game” or something.
I feel you OP. I’ve had one guy tell me that I’m a useless piece of sh!& and that I should go and commit suicide lol. I was pretty pissed because I know it’s probably some fat ass on the other side of the screen who hasn’t made out with a girl in well over a year.

Not OP but here's my perspective: I love accruing friends on hs because not many other people in person I know play, let alone talk about it. It's fun to have a ton of friends in the list who will come spectate and talk about the game and vice versa. I'm always happy to get an friend request. I would rather wade through salty ragers swearing at me to find a few good friends who play a lot than not bother at all. I don't wanna throw the baby out with the bathwater.
I had a guy who added me postgame a few weeks ago.
He said he would strangle me with a pianowire in my sleep and cut my body into 14 pieces with a bonesaw. Then he would send my head in the mail to my mother inside a box labeled "Cupcakes". As a final insult to injury he said he would contact my mother, convincing her he was a friend on mine and that he owned a catering business. And it would mean a lot to him if he was allowed to provide the food for the funeral, as a token of our friendship. At the right moment he would reveal that the roastbeef everyone was eating was actually selected pieces of my dead body.
I guess some people really hate to loose to discolock..
I know there is a screenshot function you can use. I forget if it's f12 or print screen. You can also make a ticket and give blizz the name of the person. Blizz keeps records of all chat logs so as long as you have the person's name, it should be easy to find. Providing the time the abuse happened can't hurt either.
But yes, blizz really needs to add a casual friendly method of reporting. People are more likely to quit than go through the ticket process.
I go through phases. Sometimes I throw out Friend Requests after every game, out of 20 or 30 2 might accept.
Occasionally I get sent a friend request though that tends to be after a crazy game that goes on forever and a day. 😶
But these people that add you to flame you? Doesn't happen to me often. I always wonder how these people handle problems in Real Life if a Children's Video Game gets them so mad they have to throw out random death threats to complete strangers. 🤔
Just ignore them and move on with your life. Trust me here, its waaaay too short to be worrying about what some Faceless, nameless coward thinks of you.
You don't really have to worry about photoshopping pictures being sent to Blizzard. Blizzard has logs of everything. Your report is just so that they know where to look to find the real evidence. So if you send fake information, they'll look it up, find it didn't happen, then go after you for it. If you're honest, they'll find out too.
So yeah, feel free to report.
I imagine they can't put up an easy report in game since it probably floods so much with fake/revenge reports that they can't keep up with it anymore. THus making it a bit more difficult means only serious requests. Sucks but there you go.
Sidenote: A great option for friend handling if you want to add friends but don't like the hate is to wait a few hours. I found that waiting until my next session to accept the request means that any of the hate they would've done is forgotten. I've been doing this for over 3 years and have yet to hear a negative statement. it DOES mean you don't get to talk about your last game though. But I'm anti-social so a large group of friends that don't chat is a positive for me :P.

I like to accept a day after to see if they even remember what happen. Or if I'm close to legend, I just wait to hit legend and add them. I just hit legend 2 days ago and added a guy (rank 2) that was playing Control Shaman and I had misplayed during the match because I attack first with my Hero and missed the attack with deckhand. I end up winning the match because Myras doesn't punish and he sent me a request. After hitting legend I added him and now he's rank 5 and he hasn't sent any messages. Either he doesn't remember or really does want to be my friend.
I actually get a kick out of it. Someone get irritated with you so much that they go through the lengths of sending a friend request, wait for it to be responded to, then send a nasty-gram.
I cannot think of a funnier waste of time. I eventually started to just wait on the invitation a few days then accept it. If they were a pissed off player, they don't say anything about it and I know I can get rid of them.
Here's an odd question: We're all talking about what to do about requests, but..what if YOU are the requester?
How often do you get ragefests if YOU are the one initiating the friend request? I imagine that you get a lot of people not accepting but I can also imagine that the ones that accept are probably more likely to be very nice.

Again, my point is that he's caring about it too too much, what if someone adds you just to flame you? What's the big deal about it, just keep going with your life, why should that affect you to the point of making a thread on some forums? The answer is: IT SHOULDN'T
I understand people accept friend requests cause they want to meet other people that play and love the game they love, so if you're one of those, great, keep doing it, but if someone adds you, calls you a retard and then deletes you then you shouldn't care this much, it's not that big of a deal. That's what I'm trying to say.

I really respect your opinion but I can not agree.
If someone is insulting you and your family in real life also you are going to ignore him?
I believe everyone should represent minimum rules of good manners, doesn't matter whether in real life or HS
and if you feel offended it should be some way to reporting this, that's my view on it.

The technology for this doesn't exist yet.
Auto squelch. That's all I'm asking for.

I'm collecting these, because its sometimes creative what they wish you or want to do to you. ^^
Always expect the unexpectable!

4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
At least he was creative.
Its easy... just dont take requests or dont care.

I never add any add any randoms, it's always just salty players. I have never had some one add me just to say GG or any thing positive
or you could just ignore it like a normal human being.
