RoS is great if you play warrior, hunter, and rogue.
For or the rest of us who do not enjoy those classes there simply is not much to do besides farm cards and hope for a decent nerf bat. Playing any other class on the ladder will put you in very loooooong games.
I’m averaging about half the games I played during last expansion versus RoS. And since I don’t like playing W H R my loooong games usually turn into losses.
I’m out! Enough is enough. Good luck u guys. This game is one of the most expensive games to play competitively.
I expect a lot more in the way of class balance. I Understand that RoS has been a fairly balanced meta according to the past.. but should the past be our benchmark? This game is AGAIN not balanced CLASS WISE. Again. Over and over. Every expansion.
I like cards such as Nomi or Elysiana or even Hakkar. But It's not so fun when certain classes can abuse them while other's can't even play them. There needs to be balance when it comes to NEUTRAL Legendaries. But hey I don't play competitive as much anymore, I just like the cards :D. Just adding my 5 cents
P.S. I love dragons and I am excited for the year of the dragon and all the new dragons they'll introduce this year :D
I'm terribly terribly terribly sorry to hear you're not having a good experience with HS. But that's ok, that's how you discover more about yourself and about your tastes.
I'm sure somewhere out there's a good game with your name on it. You just have to be patient and focus your attention on finding that game.
Maybe. Khadgar mountain mage and I’m sure other ways will pop up to get the job done. But my point is it takes way too long. Instead of looking at ways to beat these 3 classes/archetypes we need to take a step back look at how many classes and archetypes can’t keep up.
For example.. Its a class balance issue. Not just an archetype issue. Nobody wants to play warlock zoo and token Druid on ladder. But ALSO nobody wants to play warlock or Druid ANYTHING on ladder right now.
Why can't people just leave?! Why do we need to hear about their feelings on it as they give a long goodbye. Just go. No one cares. Shoo.. go play another game and share your feelings with them.
It's as if we need a support group for these tender people.
You can never 100% balance the classes to be as good as every single other class, unless you break T5's precious class identity (which even then wouldn't perfectly balance anything). In addition to this many people play to win, and with that goal optimization & min/maxing is the way to do that. For the average competitive player it wouldn't matter if warlock, for example, only perform 0.4% better than say shaman. The slightly higher performing deck/class will often be what is picked even if you had a fairly diverse and healthy meta.

Ironically players not wanting to play anything in standard ladder that is druid related (barring Token Druid) is because of the balance you mentioned in the OP that you want for the current RoS meta classes/decks.
Aren't balance passes great? You wreck a class or deck to make things different just to complain later that the nerfed classes now aren't being played, but instead the ones that took the old tier 1 is now dominating.
Such is the cyclical nature of the nerf bat and power passes.
Your correct that H W R is strong right now but you have no vision if you think that's the only way to win. There isn't a class in the game that you can't make legend with right now if you design your deck well and play it well. I've been winning fine with Pally, Shaman, Warlock and Priest is apparently the worst class at current, but didn't stop me from climbing the ladder with it. That's the great thing about being a Priest main, I was never conditioned to my class being the best. When people say their favorite class is weak in the meta I'm like (orly...?).

I know, right? Just go, that's what I've done when games have stopped being fun or run their course. I do something else because there are tons of other options in life.
It's attention seeking and pathetic. Half the time, they don't want to actually leave. They just want like minded people to join in and validate their saltiness.

Poor form blizzard.
If you don't enjoy playing basically a third or more of the game this game was never for you to start with.
Zoolock, mech or secret paladin, Khadgar mage, nomi priest, big shaman.
All of these are maybe not the same level, but still strong decks that can win, especially zoolock and Khadgar mage.
All classes cant be evenly good all the time.

Rogue is gettin my nervs.... 6 rogues in a row in rank 6...
I have been wrecking warriors and token Druid with mountain mage, you just aint good bro lol
More or less decent meta, have seen way worse.
This is a good point. Except when you start playing they don’t tell you that -) $$ wasted
Speak for yourself lol
I'm shredding with murloc hagatha shaman and zoolock. All those top classes really aren't that strong if you tech properly
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.

who cares if you play 100 rogues in a row... i bet not more than 10 of them are playing correctly lOL. and warrior is even worse.
ppl are really bad at this game even after 5 years
Wild is the place my man.
The games are definitely longer now, there is a lot more lifesteal around and big taunts. With ways to resummon minions that have died.
It's just a different meta.
Rusty Recycler
Ironic. It could recycle others, but not itself.
Meta still feels in flux to me.
