I think the nerf that's needed for boom isn't meant for him. I think the bomb cards should be nerfed to 3 damage instead of 5. The bomb generators aren't bad when it comes to stats. Because of that, they can trade efficiently and you still get those free mind blasts.
The non-business, money blinded, sane, balanced, non-blizz thing to do is to unnerf Wild GrowthEquality, Flametongue Totem and buff Giggling Inventor (to boost the two counters of CW) to 6 and nerf Elysiana and Boom to 10. But that will never happen. So what will happen? Knowing blizzard probably some weird choices.
They panic and nerf Shadowstep and Preparation killing Roque' identity, along with Elysiana and Boom to 10.
They'll nerf Zilliax, the only good healing card left, because its everywhere. - its either this or nerfing doing completely reactionary: Brawl.
Leeroy because its starting to kill design space and not let Zoo and Hunter take off after.
Maybe even Edwin or Evil Miscreant just because it hampers design space or give the Roque too much tempo for future x-pacs.
At this point, please let the Chinese take over or Tencent. Or start nerfing cards separately for Wild & Standard and add the 10th class to even out this one class running away with 25% of the meta and respond by killing class identities. This current business model has to stop.
I'm not sure on this one since all it would do is open up the path to use Henchclan again. If Rogue is an issue (and it might be) then I think that pickaxe is the crux of the issue to attack.
Why. Shaman is NOT a problem. Walking fountain is doing exactly what he should be doing: giving you a way to recover. He's good at it. Being good at your job is NOT a sign of OPness.
I honestly say no to this one for one big reason. I don't think Van is a PROBLEM. I think he's just OLD.
If Van never appeared before and showed up today I would be fine with hi8m. He's a win condition and one you CAN stop. He's a neat card that doesn't KILL entire archetypes or force utter wins, but creates interesting choices for the Rogue in deck design AND in gameplay. He's a great card.
But he's in standard. We've been Vanning for 5 YEARS now. It's getting dull. It's time for him to go to Wild.
So I say keep him as is, and move him to Wild next rotation.
Again I think Rogue may be an issue, and i think the issue lies elsewhere.
He's used in many places, but he doesn't rule the games he's used in. You get a big tempo spike with him yes but it's still more than possible to override him and win anyway without even changing your style. And he'll be gone next year, so by the time we're sick of him he will go away. He's a great example of a good key card in an expansion.
Blastmaster Boom - Now reads: Summon a 1/1 Boom Bot for each Bomb in your opponent's deck.
See Walking Fountain. Bomb warrior isn't broken, and he's supposed to be a win condition.
Thoughts?
It helps when you explain WHY you want these changes.
Also if you're going to HoF Edwin, Blizzard is going to have to release a brand new Rogue legendary for Classic to make up for the missing slot. And since the replacement cards were all shitty I'm sure this legendary would be too.
Zilliax is a fine card. Slows down the game, often the only healing option. Not unfair to play against. Even though people play it a ton, it makes the game better not worse.
These are some shitty ass nerf. Walking Fountain is obviously very strong but it's fucking shaman. Zilliax is perfectly balanced. Edwin is fine. Like wtf you're trying to nerf cards that shouldn't even be candidates. Didn't even touch the Waggle Pick package, do you play Hearthstone? Vargoth is fine as well like c'mon buddy.
Honestly a lot of these make no sense. Walking Fountain is the one of the few cards that makes control shaman possible to stabilize in the late game especially since they lost the mass healing of Healing Rain. Honestly I love the card and think it should stay put.
Archmage Vargoth also shouldn't be nerfed. Frankly he's brand new in fits in all of two decks I've seen, and neither of them is an auto win. In druid he buffs more, but a lot of those buffs are really important to have that turn to attack for more damage. In ressurect priest, it's just a win more card and helps to stabilize against agro. Even if you nerfed the cost, they want to resurrect it at a later time for value so it really changes nothing.
Awhile ago I could see a nerf to Blastmaster Boom but no longer. Honestly the better deck for warrior is control, and Blastmaster Boom requires you to build a whole deck around him, nerfing him would kill that archetype which is never healthy. It just enabales an extra win-con for bombs instead of hoping rng wins it for you.
Zilliax shouldn't get a nerf. It stuffed in every deck because it good, but in no way it wins game. It helps stabilize against agro and gives you the life to last long enough. Against control it doesn't do much. It does what it needs to do well but that doesn't mean it's OP. The only thing I could see is getting rid of magnetic because in some decks that can get ridiculous.
Edwin VanCleef is another card that is good where it is at now. It still requires the whole deck to be build around him to be successful with enough cheap cards to make him large enough. And still most decks have hard removal to get rid of him or just attack over his face. Also also Edwin gives some really interesting plays that make the game fun spamming cards to make a big dude.
I agree with EVIL Miscreant. It gives way to much value at 3 especially when you can bounce it a bunch. Bumping it to 4 will make rogue think which is better for that turn, the pick or miscreant. It also takes away some huge early game tempo that makes rogue hard to recover from.
The one I'm surprised wasn't mentioned was Dr. Boom, Mad Genius. It is honestly the biggest issue right now. It goes in every warrior deck because it gives infinite value(which no other class has currently). A few things need to be changed(not everything I mention should be, that'd kill the card) I think that the cost need to be changed are it's cost. At 7 its way to low currently for what it enables. Rush to mechs is honestly the biggest issue I see because they can constantly keep a clear board and ends everything. Another change is delievery drone, it should be a random mech because there are two ridiculously good choices that are auto includes (Omega Defender vs control and Dyn-o-matic vs agro).
I could see Leeroy Jenkins get a nerd or go to wild. It enables some agro strategies a bit to much. But I think it could also kill some decks without it since Blizzard doesn't want charge minions in the game anymore.
Clearly no one knows how to read. The title says "Possible Nerfs" not "Nerfs I Want." The only one of these nerfs I ACTUALLY WANT is Archmage Vargoth for Wild's sake.
I simply brought up some cards that Blizzard may decide to swing the nerf bat at when they inevitably do the expansion balance patch.

Vargoth isn't a problem in wild though?

He's fine. Don't touch him.

See the argument for Walking Fountain.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Van clef has been around for how long and now people want to nerf it. Wtf let’s kill all the fun cards.
Gee Brain, what do you wanna do tonight?
The same we do every night, Pinky - open a thread to talk about nerfs!
the only one these cards that will be nerfed potentially is miscreant and it should have its health reduced.
Man I want to upvote this billion times

These are awful
Zilliax is included in alot of decks because he helps you survive against the early aggression from aggro decks. I don't think he deserves a nerf.
If this was Reddit I would've given you gold for this.
Who cares about nerfs? When are we getting our packs from the HCT World Championship?
Rob Dawg
imagine wanting to nerf zilliax lol.
that card is the fairest strong card ever printed.
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.

Occasionally gives helpful advice.

Sounds like someone didn't like Rogue or Warrior much
Once again another person who doesn't know how, or more likely doesn't want to read.
Vargoth isn't a problem in wild though?
