Nerfs to legendaries are rare because they are costly. If nerfs happen, it's more likely that they would happen to other key cards rather than legendaries.
If bombs needed a nerf, for example, the weapon could give a bomb as an overkill instead of with every attack.
Edwin has always been fine. Not sure why he's on your hit list.
If EVIL miscreant needs a nerf, I'd prefer a health nerf. Make it more difficult to bounce it back.
I never said they were problematic. But judging by Blizzard's recent track record, it's almost certain they'll make adjustments at some point in this expansion. This thread was meant to toss out ideas of what the devs might target with their adjustments.
Blastmaster Boom - Now reads: Summon a 1/1 Boom Bot for each Bomb in your opponent's deck.
Thoughts?
I agree with EVIL miscreant, and thats about it.
walking fountain is super good, but it is not a top of the meta type card. I don't know how much you play it, but I play it a lot and I don't feel like it is OP.
I have seen maybe 2 edwins since rise of shadows has launched. granted, I am playing on lower ranks, but still, I don't feel like it is any better now than it was 2 years ago, and it did not need a nerf then. maybe rogue does need a nerf, but nerfing edwin is not the way to go.
archmage vargoth maybe needs a nerf, it does not seem very insane or broken in standard, but I know it is much worse in wild, but even so, it is still a fairly new card, so I don't think it will get hit so soon.
zilliax does not need a nerf. people mention it a lot because of zilliax's popularity, but he is not game breaking, he does not win games by himself, but he is very useful. and is it quite possible for to find an answer for him.
and boom warrior has plummeted in poularity and power since the release of the expansion. so I don't think we need to worry much about them.

STOOOOOOP THESE NERF THREADS. This site becomes less fun to visit because of it.
Well nerfs are gonna happen either way. So there's nothing wrong with theorizing what they might be.
That's a little optimistic to say.
No card was every nerfed in the expasion set they came with. So don't expect nerf to any of those cards, especially since Blizz designs multiple expansions in advance, so meta can easily shift in August, as none of these cards are breaking traditional game rules like Odd/Even cards.
Zilliax is far from being problematic. It's just played by many decks cuz it's good, but not game ruining.
No classic legendaries were ever nerfed, even in freeze mage times. VanCleef is out of the picture.
Archmage Vargoth - Why this card? is it because of wild or some specific deck? this card has not been that much of a problem anywhere in standard. the only time ive ever seen it in a deck list are in meme decks or token druid. and there are worse cards in token druid than Archmage Vargoth.
Zilliax - Okay. yea this card is a problem since its in almost every single deck. Nerfing it to 2 attack really doesnt fix the issue though. itll still be a sticky minion that heals 2 damage and possibly more. Is removing the divine shield too harsh? Maybe, but its what would happen if you dont want it to be included in every single deck.
EVIL Miscreant - This could work, but I would also like to wonder if just giving it "Combo: Add one random Lackey to your hand" would be better.
Walking Fountain - Are you saying this because of its turn 8 clear ability or because of its healing? if its for clear, this doesn't solve the problem. if its for healing, then i still dont think this achieves the goal. reducing two health is so small compared to other factors, and its still going to have 8 health itself, windfury, and rush. its a sticky minion that costs 8 mana. i dont think it should be touched right now in comparison to other cards.
Edwin VanCleef - I cant talk about this card. it needs the nerf, but i dont really know what to do with it. theres so many other factors that affect rogue right now that cause Edwin VanCleef to be a broken card. nerfing EVIL Miscreant would help a ton. but then theres the 0 mana cards that make it even stronger. I think once EVIL Miscreant gets nerfed, Edwin VanCleef will be a bit better.
Blastmaster Boom - yea this pretty much needs to happen. i understand that it was made 2 probably in case the opponent got "Lucky" and drew 3/4 bombs on topdeck, but 3 bombs is really easy to get and the bombs themselves deal so much damage, not to mention the insane rng of the Boom Bot. There is a reason why Dr. Boom AKA Doctor 7 became such a popular staple card back in the day!

EVIL Miscreant - Mana Cost increased from 3 to 4.
Walking Fountain - Attack reduced from 4 to 3.
Edwin VanCleef - Mana Cost increased from 3 to 4.
Archmage Vargoth - Mana Cost increased from 4 to 5.
Zilliax - Attack reduced from 3 to 2.
Blastmaster Boom - Now reads: Summon a 1/1 Boom Bot for each Bomb in your opponent's deck.

All except Zilliax and Blastmaster are ok.
No brain - no pain.

Miscreant - People would still play it for draw, doesn't win games on its own.
Fountain - people will learn to prioritize trade before shaman drops this to deny them heal and then remove it.
VanCleef - you know they have it so removal is your friend.
Vargoth - don't see this too much, why nerf?
Zilliax - more likely cost increased to 6.
Boom - Perhaps summons the 0/2 boom bot instead.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
They won't likely nerf Archmage Vargoth because it was free and people might dust it giving 1600 dust.
.
unneccesary
So you think Activision is going to give everyone a free archmage vargoth then nerf it so that they have to turn aroudn and give everyone 1600 gold?
I can't see that happening. I think they'd prefer Wild burn to the ground first.
Galavant Animation
Archmage Vargoth - More of a consideration for Wild.
Blastmaster Boom - That would go against his flavor.
Edwin VanCleef - I'm only saying him because many pros seem to have beef with his current state.
The other 3 I can totally agree on though.
Archmage Vargoth is uncraftable. So the only way you'd get dust is if you own the Golden version
None of these cards are problematic.

The only possible nerf/HoF candidate is Leeroy.

Current homebrew variations of decks:
That is royally false. Corridor Creeper, Spreading Plague, The Caverns Below, and Small-Time Buccaneer were all nerfed before the following expansion came out.
no, you can dust archmage. go to your collection and see.
Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
Really? Wonder why they changed how it works? I assumed he was similar to C'Thun and Marin the Fox.
Edwin has lackeys now.
