Quest Mage, currently in the iteration in my signature.
Actually Open the Waygate is not even a meme anymore, since RoS, and can be used in Ranked, as long as you know what you're doing ofc.
The fact it can be implemented either as Miracle, OTK or Exodia adds even more to its depth.
I think i have found my final home in this archetype.
I actually see them so often now that I've teched against them in most decks. A single tech card winds up being consistently impactful because of how many cards they draw you with coldlights are research project
I'm pretty salty. Giant quest mage used to be my go-to deck that's both competitive and meme since WW. Now I can't play it anymore because of how much tech I'm seeing. And I can't do a lot of the cool stuff I did in older iterations because some new cards are so powerful in the archetype, I'd be stupid not to cut some of the meme packages

That's why i am using the Miracle setup, which does not involve Oracles. Miracle is faster than OTK/Exodia at completing the Quest, so it can play around the Ice Block and Freeze.
What is your current tech against it btw? So i know for myself. :P
A Hybrid Spirit O Shark/Tess deck. It's the most interesting of my decks.
It's effectively Midrange. It relies on stolen cards and Lackeys to keep from completely losing the board, then uses those same cards as fuel for questing and Van in the midgame. Meanwhile I'm collecting three cards: Tess, Scheme, and Unstable. Once I have all three, I fire off Unstable, then fire Tess/Scheme. Tess never has many effects on her, perhaps 2 minions, a weapon, and a spell at best, but at that point I'm getting that every single turn for the rest of the game.
Note that you can be liberal with any of the features. You don't need to try to preserve the Cutlass as, in the end, you'll be reliant more on the stolen weapon, and you don't have to worry too much about making Van/Questing stick as you have Tess to fall back on. Just keep the pressure up and keep drawing lackeys/cards to give you options to get yourself out of whatever mess you're stuck in.
This deck shouldn't work at all. Basically it asks the question "how can I get Overlord's Whip to actually work."
The answer seems to be in fast Tempo.
You basically keep throwing minions down and either 'buffing' them with self damage spells or wielding the whip. It goes through the deck very fast so you have to play VERY aggressively. It has Underbelly Ooze but I'm thinking of dropping that now that I know it makes a copy of it's damaged self, not new copies (so hitting it 4 times means you get 5 3/1s).
Beyond that I made copies of two of Roger's decks from the tournament, of which Hunter is active, Paladin is active with some anti-aggro modifications, I have a mage deck I basically just did an autocomplete on that ended up a budget top tier deck, and no blasted idea what to do with Druid since I don't want to make another Tempo deck. Also when I get the chance there's a Shaman deck I saw somewhere with a very cool Shudderwock interaction that I MUST go and make.
My meme deck is simple. Fill a Shaman deck with every one cost spell in the game (With one ancestral knowledge) add double witchwood piper, add Geist. Then you ancestors call out Mecha’thun and use Reincarnate on it to win the game.

I've got a hunter C'thun deck that features Emeriss. It can probably be updated but I do have it posted. I've also fiddled around with am infinite Paladin deck showcasing immortal prelates and Undatakah. It occurs to me that I haven't tried any wild cards with the concept. The double deathrattle dude from Nax (baron something or another) could really up the meme factor.
At the minute, my Mech Dragon Paladin with Nozari. Nobody expects Nozari.
Does he actually work? I'm tempted to craft him but not if he's actually not necessary for the decks he's been put into.
(*ran a heal deck through all of Rumble*)
Yes and no. I don't know if I would craft it, it's pretty memey. In my particular deck, I try to use all of my opponent's resources and then swing back when they've limited answers. It is pretty funny to bait your opponent into going all in thinking you're done for only to play Nozari, followed by Kangor's. When it works it feels great.
Edit: I didn't actually answer your question. Is Nozari necessary? In my deck, yes, but my deck is probably pretty far from competitive.

Petition for Jaina's boobs to return please. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
My home is rank 15, not casual, but I do meme it up:
Basically said "I want to just take everything of theirs." and went from there.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Maly Hunter. OTK spell hunter deck was something that I never imagined would work, and it's a blast!

Also this spell hunter: I haven't played it since the meta has settled a bit, thinking of dusting it off and seeing what it does now days.

I have a pretty fun spell hunter deck that utilizes Arcane Fletcher and Toxmonger with Halazzi, the Lynx, which catches a lot of people by surprise.
