500 wins with 9 classes are 4.500 wins. With a 50% average winrate its 9.000 games. With an average game lasting 7.5 minutes (data by Blizzard) it's 1125 hours of play (or, 46+ days of 24 hour dayli play).
I'm closing in 1500 wins on all classes. everything is between 1400-1550.
So to me it isn't a big deal anymore but I guess it's impressive for casual players.
The only reason I've been keeping all classes in similar win range is for the hope that some day blizzard releases new tiers at 1000 wins, 1500, 2000, etc. If that happens, I will already have the 1500 tiers on all classes.
I'm kinda happy I did it since they've been talking a lot recently about making new tiers at higher wins.
I think no "casual player" will be getting close to 8-10k games. It is a lot of hs. And sometimes with classes, you dont like.
So to me, it is an impressive accomplishment, which not a lot of players have.
I think its a great achievement, and shows mastery of the game. To play well in ranked with all 9 classes is not easy for most people. To do it well especially!
People on this forum are spoiled. Winning 4500 times is not impressive? Good grief. OP, you've done something that over 99% of players have not been able to achieve. If that's not impressive, then I'm not sure what is.
I think it's impressive if you haven't played since Grand Tournament or something. It's a time sink to get ladder wins (and btw i doubt anyone here would labor over "Well I hit 500 but only 472 were 'legit' wins" so it's not worth mentioning imo), so really, unless you're a terrible player, you're going to hit every class. It's an inevitability. I only cared to get hunter, so now that I have it I casually hit up ladder on the floors of standard or anywhere in wild if I'm looking to get a golden hero.

Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
By now? Not a big deal at all. Of course it depends on how long you’ve been playing, but for someone who’s played since roughly the beginning, that goal could be reached a very long time ago, even as a casual
Getting all those wins is definitely something. But lets be honest. Even bad and persistent enough player will finally get there. If you want to do something really impressive try to get legend (or 12 wins brawliseum) without netdecikng. Changing Thalnos for Loot Hoarder etc. doesn't count ;) .
Enhorabuena.
Impressive is not long ago I also got my 9 Golden the last the rogue that began with 60 victories to 500 and the satisfaction and relaxation to get it is priceless, have been years of effort and about 20,000 games more or less.
Same as making legend it follows a simple formula: Skill x Time x Luck = Any major Hearthsone goal. So it means you are good, you are lucky, or you have a lot of time to commit to the game, or a mix of the three. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Yeah, that's why I said it's impressive to casual players.
Non-casuals have all 9 golden heroes.
2000 wins for each class, now we're talking impressive.
Well, I am a casual player as my time invested is very little compared to many others. As I mentioned, I also took some time off for awhile from the game because of my frustration with Blizzard not fixing obvious issues with the game, or broken cards that took away the fun.
I know many people left the game when Undertaker was plaguing the ladder. It is no fun to get wrecked by a 1 drop that snowballs out of control by simply playing minions.
I wish there was a way to find out your total hours put into the game, other than the math formula someone posted previously, as that is an estimate based on normal win rates.
Either way, congrats to those that achieved this before and those that will do afterwards. Even if it's not IMPRESSIVE, I do think its a great personal goal to strive for and I say to others, go for it. It feels rewarding without needing a reward to set a goal and then make it happen.
So for those that are only 1 or 2 golden heroes away. Make it happen, and post it here if you like. Even if its for classes you don't like to play. Challenge yourself and find a decklist you can live with. For me, my problem was Paladin. So I made all sorts of Paladin decks in order to grind the wins out. All Standard decks....Secret Paladin, didnt work for me. Too frustrating to run out of cards and have no way of winning once your board was cleared. I am also sure it was frustrating on the other end to lose by turn 4 with the nuts draw on my end.
I even tried Duel Paladin and OTK Paladin, but those games too so long to win that I wasn't having fun even when I did win. I wanted to get to 500 quickly, not spend 20 mins on each game when I only play an hour a day.
I finally settled on Dragon Paladin, with a modified list. It is very strong against Token Druid because of the numerous board clears and Wild Pyromancer. It is also strong against most other mid range decks like Mech Hunter. As I also packed in some silence tech for those match ups. I lost to pure Control and Combo decks because I had no real late game to compete with their big minions.
We make our own fun and set our own goals. It is why I made this post. Not to get a pat on the back, but to encourage others to do the same. While this is 'just a card game', it also teaches us to be patient and creative if we want to be.
Once again, thanks for those that did speak words of encouragement and praise. I really appreciate it. I know these forums can be really negative at times. Including my own posts. Let's keep goals like these positive. Thanks.

So now, even casual players have 500 wins on all classes ? If you claim to be a casual player and yet still managed to achieved all golden portraits, it shows how meaningless this achievement has become.
I'd love to see more achievements and progression in the game. In the beginning, I was so motivated to hit goals that I set up spreadsheets and tracked every little detail. Now that I've hit most of the clear goals (12 wins arena, closing in on 1,000 wins/class), I'm a little lost in what achievements to work towards.

Congrats! I think it is something to be proud of.
I'm working on it too. I have 6 of 9 with hunter, shaman, and druid left.
It is a LOT of time.

It's a BIG time investment in HS.

It's good, but, you have to have the legend cardback to go along with it.

Well Played!!

Seeing how laborious playing on ladder is, that's definitely not something I will ever be able to achieve. Congratulations!

My first goal was level 60 with all.
Then legend with all.
Then gold portrait with all.
Then 12 wins with all in arena.
Then full collection, which I reached about 1.5 years ago, and then took a break.
Now my “goal” is rank 5 in both standard and wild every season, which is still obtainable mostly from doing daily quests
Wins = Time Played, nothing more.

It really isn’t a big deal anymore since now I can do it in arena l. Most people probably already have it since the game been out for long time.
