I'm asking more for my own information because I'm more used to TCGs such as Star Wars Destiny.
Omega Devastator's wording seems inconsistent to me, and I want to make sure I'm understanding a mechanic properly.
"Battlecry: If you have 10 Mana Crystals, deal 10 damage to a minion."
My question is regarding coining into 10. According to the text, it should be able to trigger (it doesn't)? Or, is there a difference in this game between mana and mana crystals?
This sort of thing is just an interaction with Omega cards. It checks for you having 10 mana after the mana cost was paid, which uses the mana from the coin first, resulting in you only having 9 mana and thus, not have the effect go off.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
The coin doesn't give you a mana crystal, just extra mana, it's different, cause you lose the extra mana at the end of the turn but you can't lose mana crystals unless it's specified on a cards text like Blastcrystal Potion and Omega Devastator's text reads "Battlecry: If you have 10 MANA CRYSTAL, deal 10 damage" so of course having 10 mana is not enough and/or a condition for it to activate. If the wording said mana instead, it would mean that you have to play the devastator first everytime after turn 10 (or 9 with coin) or it's effect would not trigger, which seems like a shitty idea to me.
In other words, the temporary crystal from The Coin is gone by the time the battlecry checks for it, so the battlecry isn't triggered.
(Why is there a golden version of The Coin? I'm sure there's a reason, but it escapes me at the moment.)
You get a Golden Coin if you have an all Golden deck and go second.
Now, interesting experiment - if you Coin from 9 to 10 mana, and then play a 0-Cost Omega card, does it trigger? My guess would be no, since it still isn't a 'real' Mana Crystal, but who knows.

For it to work you have to actually have 10 mana crystals. The coin gives you a temp crystal but you don't actually have 10

You can find me here! Good luck everyone!
10 mana & 10 Mana Crystals in Blizzards case are different things (Kappa) So yeah.
After you use the coin and spend mana, you are not left with an empty mana crystal, so my guess is coin into 0 mana omega card would trigger.
Or maybe the Omega mechanic simply checks for unlocked mana sockets (normally called 'empty mana crystal' in Ramp cards like Wild Growth).
Not any effective mana owned during the turn.
I guess they use 'mana' for both sockets and mana to make it simple for the average/new player.
unless you ramp, you only get your tenth mana crystal in turn 10. coin is mana, not a mana crystal.

Several cards can give you The Coin such as Hoarding Dragon and Burgly Bully. And like every other token cards there is a golden animation :-)
On top of that, if your deck is made out of only golden cards, then you will get a golden The Coin if you go 2nd.
Since I was interested, I decided to actually test if playing a 0-Cost Omega card at 9 Crystals / 10 Mana would trigger its effect.
Nope! I had to fiddle about, restarting to get the Coin, using Emperor Thaurissan / Mojomaster Zihi / Omega Mind, but my spells did not gain lifesteal, as I expected.

Surprising -- that seems like a bug to me. It is literally called a Mana Crystal in the wording of The Coin.
