i play until rank 5 in standard at start of season
then i play wild rank between rank 15 and 10 with fun decks i do this to avoid losing my mind to big priests - DH warlock and other degenrate aggro decks like kingsbane rouge - oddpaladin that fills high rank ladder (if i reach rank 11 by accident i concede until i became 15 again)
There isn't an option "Mostly ranked" or something similar, which describes what I am doing, so I voted "Yes, only Ranked", since Ranked is my most played game mode.
I don't play casual unless A) I want to complete a quest/quests with a meme-decks (example: play 30 warlock cards => makes a 30-warlock cards zoo/demon type a deck) or B) I want to complete a quest/quests fast (yes, I am one of those t1 netdeckers in casual, I love you too).
I play Tavern brawl just to get the free pack or just complete a quest or 2 fast.
Since I came back from a 1-year long break back in January 2018, I don't play Arena, unless there is an extra ticket or some sort of promotion involved.

I mainly play wild ranked for rank 5 chest, then some standard ranked the ocasional TB for the pack or quests and some solo pve content (dungeon runs and witch hunt).
I don't play casual because there is no need for me to do so. Once I've hit rank 5 in wild I don't care about losing stars in either mode and climbing from rank 7-9 to rank 5 in wild is easy enough if you have the right deck so I usually achieve it pretty early in the season.
I play mostly Standard ranked, but I go to casual for my goofball decks. I just wanna climb to the rank 5-1 meta and maybe legend so I can tweak my homebrew decks better. It's pretty much impossible to do that at lower ranks with all of the oddball shit people run down there. Problem is the game is walling me off at 7. Every time I'm one win from rank 6 I get a nut draw opponent who's always a bad matchup for me and totally ruins my day.
I only play ranked when I need to complete a quest and want to be sure of the decks I’ll be facing. Too much variance in casual. Other than that, I have no real interest in grinding the ladder.

Grammar is the difference between knowing your crap, and knowing you’re crap.
I play ranked off and on but after getting legend for the first time a couple seasons ago I don't have a big motivation to grind & play ranked all that often.
Occasionally. I'm not good at this video game, so I typically just play casual to avoid objective information about how bad I am. Also, sometimes I get bored/busy mid-match, and it doesn't feel bad to forfeit out of a casual or tavern brawl, like it does in ranked.
I usually stick to casual, but that is so awful right now, I don't know, I might as well just netdeck and play ranked - i'm actually thinking of just sticking to solo content for awhile.
I only play casual for some quests or if I want to meme, but with the amount of netdecks in that mode I prefer using fun decks against friends to avoid the frustration
Ladder is the only format I play, both Wild and Standard. I used to play Casual when losing ranks used to get to me, especially if I was climbing higher than normal but that doesn’t bother me that much any more. The new rank floors every 5 ranks have helped.
It’s the most enjoyable format for me. I enjoy the competitive aspect and seeing how the meta evolves over time. I don’t enjoy Arena and I also want my wins to count towards my golden heroes.
rank to 10 then quit..havent played ranked since new expansion...all these new netdecks are absolutely fucking retarded and require 0 thinking. In casual there MIGHT be a chance i see something new though unlikely.
Do you play Ranked? Why or why not?
I play only ranked because i want to break my enemies and hear the lamentation of their women!
Plus casual is toxic as f'ck.
I find ranked to be more toxic, with too much up&downs.
I hate to waste something i previously gained (stars).
I'd love to have an Arena for Constructed, with one free entrance per week.
Only play till rank 5 each month leave it alone and stomp noobs like Kaladin with netdecks in casual

say what?
sry i meant rank 11

I only play ranked, never casual. At first for the golden heroes, which I now all have; but the ranked rewards are fine if you're rank 5.

Missing lethal since June 2015.
I believe they have changed it so that arena wins do count towards golden hero portraits now.

Fun > Meta
Rank 5 then mostly casual
