If you don't concede after it's extremely clear that you lost, playing on isn't BM in my opinion. Especially if it involves a lot of movement to complete the game, for example by having to attack with 5 minions.
I feel like this is situational. So if its absolutely obvious that they have lethal, then maybe they are trying to complete a quest... however... I would never concede. They may miss play and ultimately help you win. So stay positive and think about different alternatives.
I would not consider it BM personally. In the described case it sounds like they had a big play planned that they were probably working towards most of the game, they were just executing it to show it off. I don't think that's rude. The only thing I REALLY consider BM is spamming emotes.
If your opponent has lethal on board and you're being a dick by not conceding, no.
Who in their right and sane mind ever thinks not conceding a game is "being a dick"? That's the most bonkers thing I've heard tonight! You are never, I repeat, NEVER under obligation to concede a match just because the opponent has lethal on the board. Don't be the guy who thinks otherwise. THAT's the real "being a dick"...
You're twisting my words, guy. I never said not conceding is BM, nor did I say it was obligatory to do so. It's about the act of not conceding specifically to be a dick. If your opponent has obvious lethal and you're stubbornly refusing to concede, yes I'd consider that BM and being a dick.
If it isn't what you meant and it is worded badly, then fair enough and I withdraw my comment. But that's pretty much how it read. Hence the reaction from many along the same lines. If you're doing something with the intention of being a dick, then sure, you're being a dick. But that's implied in the action itself. Usually it's fairly obvious though, because it's quite often coupled with roping the opponent to draw out the game as long as possible.

I added to that post in the meantime. No hard feelings.
When I started playing Hearthstone (late beta), I was always glad when my opponent shows me all the cards he had before finishing me, so I can understand how far behind I was and which options he had in hand. Also I often did it myself to my opponent, as I did not consider this behavior as BM at that time. Even now, after all those years of playng this game and reading forums, I don't give a f**k when my opponent overkill me.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
All cards are balanced, but some cards are more balanced than others.
"I won't concede because maybe they won't notice they have lethal"
well, if that's the case, maybe they keep playing cards because they don't know they have lethal. And if you think they do know, then go ahead and concede, because you're going to lose eventually. No gain in staying beyond when you know that they know.
If I'm not playing one of my main classes then chances are good I'm just trying to knock out some quests. Theres a difference between playing extra cards and roping or incessantly emoting like a got dang Giggling Inventor.

I think you're missing a key element here. If they keep playing out cards, and then kill you, then it is fairly obviously a BM move. But if they miss the lethal (which does happen), and play out their cards and then end their turn without killing you, then obviously they missed the lethal. Not sure what double speak you're seeing anywhere there. It all reads pretty much logically from where I sit.
And there can often be a really big gain in not copnceding and waiting to see if they missed it - especially if you have a game-changer card in hand like a Zul'jin etc.
If you let someone play out their winning turn, it shouldn't be with the proviso that they take you out as quickly as possible to end it. If that's the case, you may as well concede and save them having to click and drag a bunch of pointless times.
I let people play out their winning turns knowing that they're almost certainly going to play out their hand. I do it out of curiosity to see what they had, or to let them complete some dailys. Doing so with an unspecified caveat and getting angry when they don't read your mind and honour that is kinda dumb.
Thank you so much for all the feedback, always very interesting to see what the community thinks about different kinds of situations. So far the take aways for me are the following.
Disagree that not conceding is a BM or being a "dick". I've always seen it as more of a "bonus" to your opponent, giving him the pleasure of smashing your hero portrait.
I also disagree that by not conceding you've allowed your opponent do all he wants on his turn, and therefore you should sit and take it. I think that just because you can, doesn't mean you should, otherwise it's just like saying that roping is not BM since you passed your turn, so the opponent can take as long as he wants to take his.
I agree that it is very situation dependent, and one cannot give a definite answer. It all boils down to the intent of your opponent, if he was completing his quest, then it is obviously not a BM, if instead he was purposefully wasting your time/showing off then it is pretty much BM to me.

Now, if this is a pro match.... Concede.
And btw, this is why you never concede ahead of time! :D
