yeah, I have noticed that my token druid has been pretty bad, though I can not say that it has ever really been that amazing. it got me to rank 9 from rank 10.
I have tried several different variants. they all work the same. 7 wins in a row without a single loss, then 7 loses in a row without a single win.
anyone have suggestions on what to play next?

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
The deck that was being vilified and reviled? By everyone? The deck that everyone wanted to Nerf because OMFG OPOPOPieeeee? Turns out its not that great.
Token druid, or at least the versions I've seen, is super weak to taunts. On top of that if it doesn't have a decent opener it's pretty dead, and it's pretty easy to have dead draws with the deck. It's not like weanielock where everything is super low stated.
I think the meta shift might have happened because people have also had to start thinking about multiple Nomi clears. Now, control Warrior plays 2 brawls and 2 Warpaths. That should destroy Token Druid. Priest can also go off with pyromancer and Rogue are playing Vanish. Just a thought about what’s popular now that wasn’t a week ago.
People learned how to play against it. And people use tech cards. Now warrior and rogue are ruling the meta. Druid may came back when warriors dissapear

Nomi isn't that relevant. Warrior have ran 2 brawls and warpaths since day one of the xpac and Token is still even with control war and favored against bomb war. That priest deck does have a slight advantage in WR but it's a pretty rare deck to see. Rogues are not playing vanish, that is just silly.

It has the one drop and the 2 mana spell that summons two dudes. It doesn't need to have a good opener, just needs a window to explode onto the board. It's not really weak to taunts either. Once you have a board even huge taunts can get smashed through. Rabble Bouncer is pretty good but not many people are running it yet from what i've seen other than the mage deck.

Druid does fine against both. Warrior beats Rogue, not Druid.
Token can be teched against but it's the kind of techs that don't help much in other matchups so not a lot of decks are willing to do it.
Unless you are running into nothing but zoolocks, your deck is favored vs. every other matchup. It's the ONLY tier 1 deck according to hs replay...
I don't think so. Tempo rogue is better than token druid, and is a 50/50 matchup Vs token druid at rank 1-5, actually slightly better. It's just a matter of getting your play style correct against it.
I see Control Warriors are now starting to run Baron Geddon in addition to their 2 x Warpath and 2 x Brawl, to deal with swarm decks. Trump's most recent youtube clip shows him wrecking Token Druid with it. Now sure if that skews the deck too much towards dealing exclusively with those kind of decks - I'll be interested to see how things unfold.
Yeah, I noticed the baron geddons started yesterday or the day before I think. They're pretty standard in the deck now.
Even without Baron Geddon there are plenty of options to help you out against Token Drood.
This is a dead subject now. The next Big Bad will be along soon.
It'll be a control deck with mecha'thun finisher.
Really though, more likely it's going to be Rogue as it seems to be climbing quite a bit now. It;s normally the more aggressive decks people complain about.

Or warrior, because of the bombs and removals... Or mage, because two 8/8s on turn 5 isn't fair... Or hunter, because getting 7/7s from Nine Lives is overpowered... People complain about literally anything they lost to 5 minutes before. So either the OP is queuing into nothing but CWs and Zoolocks or he's just really bad at piloting the deck (which isn't as easy as it seems tbh).
Thank you, friend, for the climb.
You were fun while you lasted.
=(
What's wrong with token druid now?
New decks win, new decks get popular, counters rise up to feast on them. They call it the metagame. Except token druid is still T1 so not sure.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

It's been about 3 minutes and this memorial post already hasn't aged well
I took it from Rank 5 to Rank 1 a few days ago
Can’t get a win in casual now

Who'd a thought?
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔
what are you on about? if you mean the deck is counter queue'd, that doesn't mean the deck is dead, quite the opposite.
This guy was really desperate to post something. Token druid is Tier 1 FFS! OP is probably in his own little meta.

i don't know what this thread is about. Token is still doing great.
