Hi, my name is Bomb Warrior. Everyone hated me when I was in the meta for 5 days. Now this is my friend, Token Druid. Token Druid is a stupid aggro deck, like me. Everyone hates us because we SMOrc. Token Druid would like to talk to you:
"Hi. You asked me if there are enough board clears/removal. I have been fucked to many times by warrior with Warpath, Brawl, Omega Devastator, Execute, Dr. Boom's hero powers, and Dyn-o-matic. You hate me. Sure I'm fine with that. I bet you hated Odd Paladin, Undertaker Hunter, Pre-nerf Quest Rogue, Spell Hunter, OTK Priest, and pretty much every deck with <50% winrate. I would say go to the salt thread but I'm not one of those people."
Deal with it mate. Or just play any control deck.
HSReplay says token druid is favored over bomb warrior and yes even control warrior.
So it seems like a problem if a control deck that is supposed to counter aggro is still losing to token druid
Token druid keep the meta heathy, believe me, will be hunterstone with 50 matches in a row vs only hunters if not exists fast decks like this one to keep in check, controls don't have a chance vs endless 7/7's and 5/5's rush + 10 manas hero and there is no reliable combos like Exodia mage or Mecha'Thun decks anymore.

Why do people always quote HSReplay like its some sort of religious text? It's not you know...
People are whining about Token Druid now, yes. But just like Bonb Warrior it'll fade away as soon as 'Streamer X' comes up with the next big thing.
Then everyone will be playing that and these boards will be flooded by more Whine Bitch Threads.
How sure am I? Very. Because its what happens. Every. Fucking. Time.
There's nothing wrong with some classes not having a decent counter for everything. That is much more of a class design screw-up than a deck imbalance issue. I didn't see many warlock players complaining about rogue getting the middle finger when Gul'Dan was dropped and they suddenly had to answer a wide board of taunts when the DK was still around in standard. Classes are never supposed to be some OP jack of all trades.
How to serve the mindless urges of the repulsive fanboy this expansion? Token Druid.
This is what the scheme of card design politics looks like. After the Hunter mindlessness for the fanboy, they took notice of the complains. Manipulative masterminds pretended a higher skill floor. But in the end it is all about serving the fanboys pack buying: mindless aggression is and will be the norm.
So bomb Warrior looks somewhat strategic, Priest is off the map, but in the end - as it has always been - the image of zoolock back then has comeback with a vengeance. Token druid shall fulfill the mindless urges of the repulsive fanboy this exp. In the end everything evolves around this entity. Constructing and drugging a lack of self respect has been shown to be a successful marketing strategy. Vulgarity its aim. Imagine what fanboys will become later in the real world due to the lessons of Blizzard: demanding things to be easy and if not....title: how civilization becomes vulgar.
Once again lack of balance, lack of strategy, low skill floor, low diversity., RPS too steep: Hearthstone is not for everyone. A fair conclusion.
It's pretty obvious why people are defending it. People are winning with it. Easy. Case closed.
Just take Witch's Cauldron instead of the disgusting Savage Roar and it would actually be fun I think. Well, maybe heroes also would need to start at 60 health. lol
Don't worry OP, if Blizzard decided to nerf Bomb Warrior, Token Druid or anything else, all these apologists would congratulate Blizzard on the nerfs regardless. It's cyclical.
People will cry over anything, even their own fun decks.
Don't worry crybabies, if Blizzard decided to nerf every thing we asked for, we can still find new things to whine over, its stupid.

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
So you're complaining about filling boards, ok. How fair was it when mages had a crap ton of board clears and insane amount of heals? How fair was it what evenlocks could do? How fair was mid-range hunter with turn 6 DK? And the list could go on with resurrect priests and turn 4 Barns into Ragnaros, or whatever. Agrro/token druids have no board clears. either use it against them or just stall the game far enough so that their hands burn out. Just try to think instead of complaining. Try to come up with a hunter and make 'em cry
I ve been playing a lot against token druid (and also playing it myself) and for me, the problem is Soul of the Forest. It makes wide boards immune to AOE (except 2 specific cards) and that make control decks ( the usual counter to aggro ) unable to counter that deck. The counter is zoo which is agro too because can make favorable trades and control the board and that does not feel right.
And stop comparing it with bomb warrior. Bomb warrior never was a powerhouse. It is not even the best warrior deck.
Yes of course there are classes that aren't as strong against it. This has always been the case. It's rock-paper-scissors and because we're two sets down from last season, we have less tricks up our sleeves to deal with everything.
It's strong, but definitely not OP. There is some tweaking to be done there (in particular Savage Roar, which has always been way up in the power curve), There are some decks that counter it hard, but not a lot of people have started playing those yet.
We're one week in, so give it a rest, improve your deck (or play a different one alltogether), or get back to the salt thread.

It's rock-paper-scissors but only the scissors counter the scissors.
Token druid isn't even the strongest deck right now and it's moderately susceptible to poor draw. The main attraction to it is it doesn't have to function like an aggro deck and has some solid late game potential. Right now though there's decks that crap all over it. Baron Geddon wrecks Forest's Aid as well which for some reason is the card everyone hates. In my experience with the deck If I start relying on forest's aid I've probably lost the game. Soul of the forest is the real powerhouse in the deck and you can't combine that with Forest's aid.

Problem is, as always, when extreme efficiency, extreme fastness and extremely low crafting costs come together, it often leads to miserable scenarios

Just say one Word: Pirate-Warrior!
This was a deck where game was finished in T5/6.
Token-Druid is a little bit slower and easier to beat out imo.
There will come counterdecks in a few days, trust me. And if not, try to play Token-Druid as well and find out the weeknesses of the deck.

I don't understand why people shy away from a direct answer to the question.
Yes, I'm fine with Token Druid. I have no desire to see the whole meta slowed down to the "Archivist plus 2 bankers" speed.
Yes, aggro serves a very important part of the meta.
No, Token Druid is not overly oppressive.
No, you don't need multiple board clears to beat it.
Yes, I have decks from six different classes with winning records against Token Druid.
No, your thread did not contribute anything to the discussion.
Yes, you could have posted in any of the other 10 threads on this subject.
No, you are not a unique and beautiful snowflake who needs his own thread.
Yes, I am Jack's Complete Lack of Surprise.
Yes, I'm comfortable with that.
I . . . am enlightened.

Funniest thing is that the most consistent counter to token druid doesn't run a single board clear.
Oh well, see you in a few days when you've found a new scapegoat to blame your lack of intelligence on, OP.

Because it's possible to counter?

Hmm. Odd paladin is pretty much like token druid. And that shit went on far too long.
Overwhelmingly type 1 bandwagon comments here.
Blizzard makes it happen so it must be good. lets reason towards it.
Trademark of uncritical attitude. If Blizzard says the Earth is flat, that must be right then.
Wouldn't the fanboy come up with reaons to defend such a position.
