Like, I guess it's not a huge inconvenience to hit 'concede' but I don't get why literally every single player I meet that has lethal in hand will sit and basically go to rope before winning the game. Is the assumption that everyone should just assume you have leeroy and cold blood in your hand at all times? Like at one point, people actually would hit for lethal, I'm pretty sure, but now if people have lethal, they sit and they stare at the board for a minute hovering over their minions, and then finally cast the three spells from their hand that generate lethal, as though I'm supposed to have known what was in their hand. I'm not even talking about games with board lethal, I'm talking about games where there's easy and obvious lethal in hand that I can't know about. Just feel like this community, just the randoms you meet in ranked, have shockingly bad manners. I don't get it.
People never does this with me, so dont know about being norm.. what i see a few times is people bming with overkill or playing things from hand with lethal on board, but this is ok, i guess, nothing to be salty about..
The solution is simple - add 'cast from hand' spells. You have mana left when it isn't your turn, both players see this. Why not have some spell that casts automatically against an attacking minion or incoming spell? Problem solved.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
I hear this a lot. But I don't think it's that much of a problem. It's the same thing when people complain about thier opponents playing cards even though they already have lethal on board.
You get experience from just playing cards, so sometimes it's as simple as trying to get to level 60 with a certain Class.
sometimes people just haven't seen that way to lethal yet. I know if I'm playing a deck with a goal in mind of doing something, I tunnel and often don't even see other way to lethal for about 10 seconds or so.
I always take the full turn if I need to, and while I've not sat there for an entire turn knowing I had lethal, I have played my full turn when I could have killed them faster, just because I was so wrapped up in doing certain things with the cards.
I also like to clear the board and take lethal if at all possible as I see this as like winning with honours or something. If you can clear the board and kill the opponent, that's a good game. ha ha.
Plenty netdeckers are dumb and have no actual idea what they are doing. Every time I've played Nozdormu against a warrior, they instantly lose because they just literally cant think. It's pretty bad when spamdruid and zoolock rope like figuring out what cards to vomit is lifechangingly difficult.
Part of the reason is surely because of slow data transfer. If I play against someone in the same network (i.e. on an ipad vs. PC connected via the same router), if you rush through your turn or think about it and then just do everything you wanted in one go, the animations can take quite a time until the other person's turn start on their device. It can take easily 5 to 10 seconds (and sometimes even more). And if you just wait for your opponent to kill you, even 1 second feel like "oh man, just start moving already"...
Sure, there are morons who wait until the rope burns and then throw the fireball, or feel the need to kill everything and then wait with the final minion to attack you for lethal, but I'd guess many "waiters" can not even move their minions when you already insult the screen.

Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Yeah, a toast!

I try not to assume malice on the part of other players. I sometimes still assume it, but I try.
In cases like you describe, I try to think that they were distracted by the TV or were trying to calculate lethal.

Other times people are just dicks.
You choose.
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔
I honestly say hello, then squelch at the start lol. I'm not generally salty, I'd just rather avoid the frustration if it happens.

I just hate when you're having and otherwise good game and instead of a nice "Well Played," you get BMed into oblivion.
